What do you think of the bracelet as other members have commented on sharp edges on APSF bracelet. Wondering if to go ZF or APSF for 15500.
There was some sharp edges at inner side but I used polishing and buffing stick , now it’s perfect, but I’m doing this with almost all my watches even clean /arf

So does that mean if order rose gold you won't be able to polish and buff as will remove gold plate?

Where I need to be.
For grey dial lover’s…What you think about the gray?
Take it from a gen owner who has also worked on many 15500 reps (grey included) The dial looks nice on its own but the color isn’t accurate at all and there is always a mismatch between the dial and datewheel base color. Also on the grey and silver especially it is very evident that the dial tapisseries are different on the gen.
My advice is to enjoy the rep on its own without comparing it to gen without terms like “1:1” or “genlike”.
For me it’s an amazing $500 watch with respectable semblance to an AP 15500. I’ll be the first to congratulate you on your acquisition. Enjoy it and wear it in good health.

For grey dial lover’s…

Just received the zf 15500 v3 grey dial
Some picture about this beauty:

Sun light (cloudy day) ->

Artificial light (warm)->

Artificial light (cold)->

The bracelet it’s very well made, brushed like gen, dial it’s not 1:1 with The gen but not bad at all
What you think about the gray?
Is the bracelet on the ZF v3 sharp on the inside and needs a polish like the APSF? Or is it ready to wear straight away without buffing. Thanks

You can send watch for replanting,It’s all about your personal preference, i done polishing but some people will say it’s fine , also some batch of bracelets can be better other more sharp

You handled a ZF 15500 V3 in person yet? If so, curious how you'd compare it to the APSF of thread topic. Dial and datewheel are better on ZF -- I've gathered that much so far. Interested in hearing about the rest.

I just received my Zf v3 15500 black dial, and I can't compare to APSF, but my bracelet is sharp. It needs to he refinished for sure.

Not sure if I'm allowed to link to reddit, but I just uploaded a review and unboxing Video there an hour ago under reptile.

The one you posted is the v2. You can tell by the balance wheel.

If you're right, @code_66 needs to let his dealer know. I asked mine about the availability of ZF v3 and was told that ZF won't even give them to him right now since they want to get rid of the v2 stock.

I received my ZF V3 a week ago. Mine is a black dial as I think it's the safest bet from tapisseries tell point of view. I can feel with touch that the inside of the bracelet is a little bit sharp, but on the wrist I don't fell the supposed sharp edges at all, but then it is my first AP rep or gen so I am not sure. I have been wearing it since on several occasions.

I ordered the other day and was advised 7-10 days for QC. Hope it works out.

I have a problem with stoppage and loose parts including the rotor that drags across the case on the outer edges. Is this something a regular watchsmith can fix on this movement ?

I'm going to do some homework and see if I can find a photo of where the balance wheel is in a v2, and compare to a v3/gen, as the v3 should be Clone correct?

Sorry, still very green to technical watch terms, so forgive my newb-ness lol. Thanks though for the advice, will update soon.

first page you can see steve's photos comparing the balance wheel. yours is on the left side so its v2. it should be on the right if its v3.
