Did anyone else see the vid of this on trusty's site? At 3:15 it looks like the minute hand jumps when he starts pressing down on the cg lever.

I noticed it as well. But it stopped when he pulled te crown. So maybe he just pulled the crown enough to hack the movement but not far enough to change the time, and only the date and GMT hand.
Before I buy the watch I will wait for someone to review the new movement. Hope ALE gets his hands on it very quick.

What market? :p

the other untapped market ..not the PAM one with a zillion models and A to Z maker .... maybe make a decent Bell & Ross apparently square cases without complex curves and a basic bezel confuses the current krew ... either that or flat ceramic is just harder to make than curved ... what do I know ...

they did an awesome job on this PAM so figure what the hay ... why make the same watch rather than one no ones making and most want ..after they have ten PAMs of course

Some wise old hat like yourself should make a new thread so we can pressure this new maker .. I mean help em out with what's really needed besides a better PAM

Ok .. small rant ... just sayin .. and only after 12 posts ...

youre so right... 5 factories release their on versions of same watches.. and some makers make some serious crap that is gonna sit around for a while, why Bremont havent been tapped into yet is beyond me

maybe i will start a poll.. of brands that have some potential that are not repped yet or repped very little and see what comes up.. the makers and TD's will take notice, there was a poll earlier in the year for three watches and one eventually got repped..

people are always talking about this but it hasnt surfaced

Rant on.

Again, when you say untapped market, what exactly is that? Is that quantifiable? Is that published somewhere? Maybe the untapped market you talk about is less than the number of people who signed up for the AP Don Ramon or the LW The One, and look how well those turned out. Say what you will about PAMs, but they certainly do sell like hotcakes. The fact that all factories are pumping out reps like there's no tomorrow clearly shows the factories know what sells and would focus their energies on tapping that market. The same sadly cannot be said of Bremont. I'm not saying they are a bad brand, in fact if the factories ever repped the Codebreaker or Jaguar or even just the ALT1-B, I would be all over it like maple syrup over pancakes. But again, what matters to the makers is whether a watch will sell, not one or two dozen, but in hundreds to thousands.

I'm not that familiar with the brand but if their design language is like Panerai for example, there might be a chance. It doesn't make a lot of financial sense to spend on a design that you will use only once. Panerai again as an example, you rep the Luminor Betarrini case well enough, you just pump out thousands of those cases and just change the dial or the case material. You've recovered your initial investment on the gen several times over. I would imagine VSF had an easy time with the PAM441, as they wouldn't need to change anything else other than the movement. They could just buy a rep of the KW/V6F PAM441 and copy everything else (and maybe even just bypass the copying altogether and just purchase the parts from V6F's suppliers directly).

Maybe a poll is a good start, just to see if the market is really hankering for a totally new watch. But getting the data and using the data to get the factories to take notice and actually rep the watch? Those are two widely different situations.

Rant off. ;)

Agree .. I really dig the PAMs and this version looks superb ... agree so rep the Bell & Ross sandwich dial ..one case many versions ..past present and future refs: to sell ..knock it out of the park and they would sell thousands! ..cause no one is doing a job on Bell and Ross like they have done with this PAM as an example .. then we can get to the bremont with the wads of cash they made
