A new maker is coming with a very nice first try, the 441

I think there's a misunderstanding here, so while I'm new, I think I have a handle on this one, so here goes...

The gen watch has the ability to move the hour hand independently of the minute hand (great for changing timezones), so I believe the comment above is just saying that feature of the gen didn't make it to the clone movement in this watch. Of course you can move the hour hand and minute hand at the same time like every other watch you have ever set.

Can I ask, when you're in the position of changing the GMT hand, does turning the crown the opposite way change the date?

On my PAM329, the first click position of the crown gives me access to GMT and date adjustment (as mentioned above), and then pulling the crown out a second click let's me set the time. I'm guessing that either you haven't pulled it out to the second click (don't pull it too hard and break it though!), or the movement could be faulty, but I'm guessing it might be the former.

Hey, I tried it. Doesn't seem to really engage the second click fully. I guess like Chris said the stem is a little long then. On my other Pam it does engage, and you can hear a click. With this, the first clicks well and the second I don't seem to hear a click at all. Which is very disappointing, lol just thought they would actually check for this before sending it out (like changing the gmt, date and time)

Really love the built of the Watch. Solid and really would recommend this. Only problem I have with this watch is the crystal, can't understand why it's so reflective. Heard it's similar with the gen, so I'll take it. Haha might consider x2 ar though.

I've had same problems with the 312, but having compared it with gen - it's about the same. Panerais all have poor AR

Yes, the AR at the 312 and the 441 is exactly the same. But nobody talk about the 312.
i guess the black case of the 441 supporting the effect of a bad AR.

Maybe that holds true for the Luminor 1950s cased PAMs (I haven't really checked them, probably because of the stainless steel case like @chris3007 stated). But the Luminor Betarinni cased models like the 000, 111, 005 to name a few, have very good AR.

we should all take an unboxing video when we receive a watch either from a TD or from another member...always...

The ar is about right but the light transmission vale through the crystals is quite different. Double ar or gen crystal is the only way. I did double ar and it ls awesome. Takes the hole watch to a different level. Only problem is the domed crystal and low bezel makes it a scratch magnet.

Does anyone know if gen crystals are available anywhere. ??

How do you double AR coat the crystal? Or you send them to a certain rwi member to get them double AR coated?

Also the crystal is supposed to be sapphire which is scratch resistant right? Or not really sapphire?

And for others reply, yea I bought it from TD,
Because I refused to accept the package , now the box is going back to sender I didn't open it.

And I think even u video an unboxing won't be a solid proof because we can always open the box and seal it back to video again if seller going to argue it for some cases.

But anyway TD replied me soon after I pm for help, he never doubt about what happened , he said will contact asap with the factory after the holiday for me ask me to email him again on Feb 5, I'm very appreciate that

Actually so far this is 4th replica watch I bought in few years, and countless items I bought online, but 1st time happen this

I never lost such amount on online purchase.

A TD will do what is required. Unless he has suspicion that you are not being up front with him which in your case he does not. New reps encounter QA (not QC) issues more frequently than reps that have been out for some time.

I have a DLC PAM386 that I love...but really curious of the quality of this 441 compared to my 386. Dont care much for the GMT, but more interested in the quality of the ceramic case vs the DLC coating.
