its really hard to look for wrong DW position on 44mm, when on the wrist, unless you are exactly looking the DW touching the 3'o clock marker....its a great rep trust me as I've handled the gen 44mm too...
It is a beautiful rep, but let's be honest, after the initial buzz wears off, people will really start to scruitinize these things. I've looked at it closely, and I'm surprised I haven't seen more comments on it.

I agree, on the wrist, no one will know. But give me a 2 second direct look at the face, and it will be obvious.

If you look closely, you will see it's worse than just the DW touching the marker. They actually shortened the 3 o'clock marker to make room for it. Notice that it's not as long as 9 o'clock marker. The gen 3 and 9 markers are the same length but the DW on the gen is more to the left, so the marker still touches the DW.

FYI, I'm not knocking the rep. I love it. I placed my order and sent payment last night.

I find myself doing double takes when looking at gens even in close up pictures, as it definitely is harder to tell when they're both touching the 3 o'clock marker. Maybe I'm just used to it being more obvious like with the 42mm, but I do find it harder to tell. I think the black DW also helps, as it's harder to tell the depth at which it is sitting. I find the biggest tell for me might be the larger base of the hour hand.

No modder should use glue, esp. crazy glue for anything. It blocks disassembly, and the fumes linger and destroy the movement and crystal. Glue is the horrible admission of incompetence of an inexperienced watch tinkerer. It should be officially banned from all watchmaking. I have wasted many hours of my life undoing the almost irreversible effects of glue on reps while observing up close its irreversible destruction of precious parts. Please brothers, sniff it, use it for modelling, but do not put it on reps.

Well said!

Yes, this 44mm Panda is on the same lvl as FC 44mm and Bee imo. The only differences between J12 and Noob are dw font, rotor color and shape, and serial.
On the font front, they're both correct. Serial is also correct on both. Rotor-wise, it depends on what you prefer. I prefer Noob's closer to gen grey tone.
AP logo is already correct, no prob on that.

Uwe was the master with glue, I think he is banned now from all forums.

Yeah, once again, the rep is not as good as the $40K gen -- you are right.

Jam dude , the panda you've is the noob version? Think noob discontinued the panda, perhaps competition is fierce with the 2 companies

Yes, mine is Noob's. I'm not sure if it's still available but all I'm seeing now is the J12 version. Haha.

Sadly some noob pandas had blue screws.

Was looking at this until my TD told me noob is discontinued. Any idea which is closer since you guys are pro AP!

ask ur td for a j12, anyway they are the only ones avail. I own one and I am just overwhelmed. The differences between noob and j12 are so small that quite frankly you are both in the "super rep" league with both pieces...

I got a Noob 44m Panda with all silver screws except for the rotor screw. I bought it a while back. It is actually my favorite Noob rep besides my Noob PAMs

This Noob 44mm Panda was from the first batch I believe. So it was from the first 44mm Panda ever released and yes it has blue movt screws.
