Or you can do what one "modder" did to my AP. Crazy glue the screws to the case......

No modder should use glue, esp. crazy glue for anything. It blocks disassembly, and the fumes linger and destroy the movement and crystal. Glue is the horrible admission of incompetence of an inexperienced watch tinkerer. It should be officially banned from all watchmaking. I have wasted many hours of my life undoing the almost irreversible effects of glue on reps while observing up close its irreversible destruction of precious parts. Please brothers, sniff it, use it for modelling, but do not put it on reps.

i wonder how much better the j12 version would be. Nothing much to improve on. The only thing is that this model keep out of stock.

Beauty watch mate. Love that OEM strap. I'm surprised at how big it is though compared to some PAMs and the LW

Hi friend,
where you got the OEM GP strap? I want one too.
And the red rubber strap.

Thanks

Got them at a local AP service center.

Hahah thanks mate. It's one of my best pieces. But the Fiddy still wears bigger than the 44mm AP IMO, because of the larger dial diameter.

Lovely watchbox mate, great pics..;

Thanks. Since then, the family has changed quite a bit, my MH has gone, only to be replaced by Buemi. My GP got a new pair of shoes. I completed my first franken AP while a Bee came in. I also got and sold a Bronzo and a Black Bay. Now I'm waiting for a franken 3714 and an FF.
Thankfully, none of the new APs interest me. lol

Hey James, hope you're doing good!!!
that OEM GP strap does complete justice to the 44mm Panda...best combo imo...
I own both 42mm n 44mm Panda n must say 44mm Panda feels way more gen-like than any other SS ROO Chronograph...
btw James, your PM box is full...I PMed you but it ain't going...

I'm definitely going to be ordering one of these soon. It looks great.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if this watch has any really bad tells like the cyclops positioning on the 42mm? Is that still an issue with the 44mm?

Anything else?

If I'm going to spend ~600USD I just want to make sure there's no big surprises.

Display back. Don't worry about flaws as long as you like it. At the end of the day anyone who is curious enough can tell from the back

Yeah, the back is obvious, especially if you end up with the blue screws. Not a big deal when I'm wearing it. Really mostly curious about the cyclops positioning. It's really bad/obvious on the 42mm. Just wondering if the 44mm has the same issue. Haven't seen any side by side gen/rep pics yet.

the date positioning on 44mm is quite good than a 42mm...
this would help you decide...

its really hard to look for wrong DW position on 44mm, when on the wrist, unless you are exactly looking the DW touching the 3'o clock marker....its a great rep trust me as I've handled the gen 44mm too...
Awesome, thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. The rep cyclops positioning is really obvious on the 44mm too once you know what to look for, but wow, the rep is still a stunning piece nonetheless. I'll definitely be getting one.
