A new addition in a while: AP ROO 44mm Novelty Panda (Pics)

:nana: So, I just got this in today. I've been waiting for it since the last two weeks when the promised shipment before LNY holiday couldn't arrived in time before I went back to my hometown and.......I spent LNY without any new pieces... But, yep, the wait was worth it!

The build quality is excellent (as per usual Noob standard), although not perfect due to an issue on my other piece. It has that infamous "gen-like" feel that I haven't felt on AP reps since the V3 Diver. The rubber straps sucks though, then I immediately changed the strap to the OEM GP strap, which is my strap of choice for it, and also to test the fit. Thank God that it fits perfectly and flush with the case. Moreover, what makes me really glad is that the dial isn't just white, it also has the silver metallic sheen to it, just like the gen! Although I'm not sure how shinier is the gen.
Date font is also a bit too bold. Other than that, I'm very satisfied!

Thanks guys, it's truly a stunner. It also completes my collection of ROO reps, consisting of every case available: 42mm, Diver, limited edition and this 44mm.

Hahah, you're entitled to your own opinion. I myself think it's ok in the metal. PAM127 still looks bigger than these 44mms imo on my wrist, maybe due to its bigger dial. The 44mm FC should look smaller since it's dark.
The panda wears great on the wrist, feels very solid, just can't go wrong with it. For now, it's either this panda or the FC I would get from the 44mms range.

Also, I can confirm members' findings on RG that some of the little nut screws inside the case are missing, particularly the screws @2, 4, 8 and 10. Those are missing in both of my pandas. This is quite an issue since if the infamous case back screws at those positions fall out, the bezel screws at those positions will automatically become loose and fall out too. I haven't tried test fitting the nut screws from other ROOs though.
If this was intended by Noob, it was a really poor decision. It's not a coincidence with 3 reported cases already.
