$95 SMP 300 Diver Review

I do like this one too! One of very view watches with blue dial, that i do like and the cheapo from aliexpress lookes like it´s worth the money you paid for it.
From looking at your pictures, i think one of the 300,- reps would be better in some points, but i am not sure, if i´m right and if i would see differences, when the watch is on the wrist. As spare for the time you need to save up the money for a Gen i think you have done nothing wrong.

I'd actually think about frankening this - looking at it again the case looks a bit more accurate than mine, my crown guards are not that good and it's a little too wide and protrudes from the under the bezel which I think is more of a visual tell than the HE valve on the wrist.

Yep his page is up and down a lot. I have his e-mail though. But I would prefer to stick to Aliexpress protection. I have bought 2 watches from him when he was online on Ali. A lot of sales of this particular watch.

Thanks for the review, it looks good. Imho if You want to change something it would be the insert (maybe from ebay/wso), it´s too white and the dots too big, otherwise it passes well including the HEV valve

Just to let everyone know. I spotted this the other day with a 2824 engine. I must say I am little tempted. Talked to Angus, he says it will not take gen parts, but it does look the business. This is what it looks like on a gen bracelet. As you can maybe tell the SEL fit is not perfect. It seems like the rep lugs are shorter than the gen. What I will say is a gen bracelet feels like wearing silk Much heavier than the rep and much more solid feeling. It is a lot more rounded and smooth too. The rep seems flat in comparison.

Thanks Joey and yes you are right. I cannot take it off my wrist. It is the most comfortable bracelet I have ever experienced. I really like nice bracelets.

The 50th Bond rep has the same bracelet. Not many others except the Rolex Sub that feel as silky in the wrist that you forget you have a watch on at all. If you like Omega SMP is the way to go Vs PO or 300s. A great bracelet adds so much to the daily experience. I have Gens that feel so awkward with heavier bracelets that pull arm hair. Enjoy what you have.


What shall we have? An '82 Margaux! Is it any good? Good....?, It will make you believe in God!
