just focus the camera and you should have no problems. =) . Youre probably going past the minimum focusing distance of whatever you are using.
Great photographs come from the photographer, not the camera (like great chefs arent great chefs because of their pots)

Thanks for the review, it looks good. Imho if You want to change something it would be the insert (maybe from ebay/wso), it´s too white and the dots too big, otherwise it passes well including the HEV valve

Isn't that a different watch with the lume dot dial instead of the raised markers like in the OPs?

Definitely worth considering for me. Still looking at gens. 41mm Automatics seem to be commanding quite a lot atm. In or around the 2k mark for a good one with cards etc. I might just hold out for one. If not then it maybe Franken route with this one.

I'm joining you on this Journey :)

Just tried to secure one in Sales, but that fell through.. [emoji19]

I have some stuff to Franken on! A dial for the omega 1538 movement (or ETA 255.461). Just need the movement and new hands. So in theory I'll be switching over to Quartz, unless I cut the feet and look for the auto movement.

What size is your case man?? I've been contemplating this since you posted it. And when I saw the one appear in sales for 75, got super stoked! But, a little more I'll get a brand new one with no scratches to work on. I'll take it I guess ehh!

Lol yes I saw your interest in that $75 sale. Pity Mr. Zhao's site is still down, I would definitely recommend that one. Why not try WBK actually. I have never dealt with him, because he is ConUS based, which would not be a problem for you.

The case is full size.

Very nice review! Was so close to pulling trigger on one of these but I was offered a franken at a really good price which is en route as we speak. Can't wait for it to be here

Good read. Lovely watch for the money. In my opinion this is THE omega seamaster. I'm struggling with the choice of a nice rep or gen. They are very affordable but as someone says the full size automatic does cost the most

See my thread: https://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/280037-My-franken-SMP!?p=2571877#post-2571877

I think it may possibly be based on the same watch as yours and as you can see it's very gen like with the exception of the He valve which I hope to rectify at some point, but until then I'm loving it :)
Ah my friend that looks superb and thank you for sharing it. The lume application is just perfect. That is a a big tell on my one. Mine has batons around the lume instead of a pure application. Very glad to see it arrived safely. Wear it well.

It really looks special in person, you can't beat gen lume. Unless I charge it it's not often it's noticeable though so don't think it's the biggest tell if it's not right tbh. Thanks buddy! :)

There is the link, Mr. Zhao has upped his price by $10. One of the problems is that his store disappears quite regularly so check with him first if you can buy it off him. My last order off him took forever. http://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...teel-Dive-Sport-Luxury/436643_1859572714.html

But you can check with the TDs as well if you like, show them a picture and see what they can get. For such a popular watch is is actually hard to get a good rep. now since the closed factory eh closed. The problem is that the used gen started to get quite affordable so demand fell. I would love a super rep. Take a look at britain4 's one. The link is posted above. It is a very very nice franken, lots of gen stuff on it.

105 USD now :(
Yeah he must be cashing in on the strength of his good reviews on Ali. HIs other watches are priced upwards from the last time I looked. His site has been down for at least 3 weeks though, only came back up yesterday I think. Last time that happened the store was only open for a week.

Yes totally agree, this is the iconic Seamaster. I have been looking for the 41mm Auto gen. as well. But prices are still high. I am hoping that when Bond fever and Silly Season is over that the prices will come down a bit. I saw a Quartz 2541.80 on M2M in ConUS today if you were interested.
