Is there any engraving on the movement or just print? It looks like the “3” is already fading. Other than that I’m curious to a comparison with ZF.
Okay. I will say like this. Ive never handled a ZF before so i cant compare about the quality wise. But the finishing of the movement is stunning and its surely better than ZF and PPF. The thickness is thin at 8.2mm. The strap surely doesnt have the best quality but it is not bad.
DW seems to be thinner than gen. Never handled a gen so im not sure about that
Sunburst is beautiful. Compare with pictures on internet it looks really gen like

Would you be able to post your timegrapher QC pic? My TD has rejected the watch they ordered for me due to the amplitude being too low, something I’d never even thought to check. As it’s a new clone movement I’m wondering if it’s a general issue with the clone, be interested to see what amplitude you’re said?!
Thanks in advance

Both of mine were sitting at around 250. A little low, no idea if it was fully wound or not.

I know nothing about amplitude, but mine was 215, so if 250 is low then I can see why WatchFinder rejected it for me!!!

215 is indeed a low amplitude and could indicate a movement issue : either simply dirty or could be worse, watchfinder wouldn't take any chance on it, you know how he is strict on his QC
For info, the gen movement is considered to be normal if around 255° or higher

Learnt something new and to look out for
timnic54 haven't seen you on RWI for a long time, good to see you again
The lift angle on a PP 324SC is 54 . If the 3K movement is indeed a clone, one would expect it to be also 54. ( we can't just assume it would be 52, there is no reason to assume this )
As is the usual case TD timegraph lift angles are always set at 52 because it is the most common.
However the reading most affected ( although not massively affected ) by incorrect lift angle is amplitude. I would therefore not regard too much a reading from a Td's timegrapher.
I have ordered this watch myself, although I don't expect to receive it before mid Feb, due to CNY. When i receive it I will measure the lift angle and check the amplitude. I will also post a full review with photos as I am back now after a very complicated year

That will be a review a lot of folks looks forward to reading. Welcome back.
That looks great mate. How’s the date change? Slow roll over or instant?
If i recall correctly, i think the gen 324 movement should have a gradual date change instead of an instant flip?
Unless I missed something and we are hoping that the date change in the clone 324 movement to be as gradual as the gen
Some sources have indicated that the gen 324 movement's date change is gradual (e.g., https://chpremier.com/index.php?rout...ormation_id=32 and https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=444126) and the date change mechanism on the 324 looks similar to the ETA 2824-2 / 2892 style (hence there are forbidden hours; e.g., https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=284212)
