That‘s why I ordered a steel bracelet version and a ZF rubber strap and clasp separately for $88.

everyone is saying that 3kf ss bracelet is very wrong from the gen.
can someone point on the photos exactly what is the difference between 3k and gen and why is so noticeable, i still cannot find it, all looks the same to me.
The end link where the bracelet fits to the case is too long. It should follow the case profile but on the 3kf is extends beyond the case lugs.

The only think I am not sure if 3KF SS bracelet is a “Solid 316L stainless steel case” as per TD description.
I already can see some stain on it.
Just wanted to post a update on my rose gold 3k and really funny story
Went to a high end Jewellery store with my girlfriend. Ended up sitting down to take a look at some products. We’re all sitting relatively close but with masks
Sales associate says “thats a very nice aquanaut, I love that watch”
I respond “ya it’s great, really love it”
then he says something I really didn’t expect to hear
“I worked at Patek for 7 years, I like that watch more than the nautilus personally, enjoy it!”
Past Patek associate could not tell the difference while sitting about 3 feet from me! Made me love this rep even more!

It really is pretty hard to tell any rep from 3 feet, unless it’s a dhgate shitter.

I wouldn‘t have had the balls to enter a jewellery store with a gold rep. Most of the times I enter these stores I wear a gen and the sales person makes you a compliment on your watch and when trying on new watches you have to take your watch off the wrist and the sales assistant normally grabs your watch from the desk and takes a look at it.
Maybe with a Panerai NWBIG / Superrep I would be chilled, but with a gold rep I would be shitting my pants that the guy notices it at the moment he grabs the watch. Having worked at PP for many years he would have noticed it immediately I guess. Maybe not the steel model but I wouldn‘t risk it
Employees very hardely ever see an Aquanaut in person. I had to call more than 10 AD here in the states for them so answer a simple question of when the "swiss made" was put on a watch. On the Patek website they have a pre 2009 model. Almost everyone i talked to had no idea how to answer my question. So i would not sweat wearing an aquanaut replica into an AD. These watches are very hard to come by and if they do get any its only a handful a year.
I'm unsure whether this is a v1 or v1.1 date wheel. Any of the hawk-eyed experts here able to answer this definitively?

Is there some kind of a confirmation somewhere, which I could send as proof?
For those of you interested, the case back does not bare any markings. So it should indicate an otherwise recent batch.
