The over the top sunburst dosent bother you?

No but it is numeric indexed in 3k that “bothers” me albeit both are good reps as what we can afford.

It is inconceivable to spot much sunburst variance of both watches even under the same sunlight cos the way or angles we held them.

A true PP connoisseur can spot a rep just by looking at the numeric indexes as most ADs do educate their clients.

As for datefont, we still can source n replace one that is closest to gen but not the numeric indexes imho.

Check the photo in post 550. The ZF is wrong the 3K is correct. It is mostly the case where the crown sits. very obvious once you have seen it, can't be unseen.

True that.

It is always a compromise option for one to decide which is ideal or aesthetically appealing to the eyes n mind’s eyes.

If worn on the right wrist, that elephant is partially hidden by the sleeves or unnoticeable to others.

If anyone has the patience, v6 is coming. It always gets better and better. Maybe v9 will be the ultimate. Well love the moment of bliss of ownership than procrastination.

It is buyer’s dilemmas.

i received my QC for my KMF clasp and its terribly misaligned and looks poorly finished , i have been made to understand from my TD that most of the KMF clasp coming out now is the same. Has anyone else experienced the same issues? any suggestions for an alternative besides gen ? also hoping for some feedback from those of you who have already got your straps and clasp , how is it ?

In your case both their dials can be instant tell. While the sunburst of the ZF is off, the date on the 3K is clearly wrong.

Yes, both watches have their flaws and they always will. I plan to take the 3k dial and put it in the ZF watch. I prefer the ZF in every aspect other than the dial and I guess the thickness. The difference in thickness is not noticeable in real life though.

To me, the 3k watch with the clone 324 is an exciting step but without movement engraving and proper case construction/finish... I’d rather have a ZF + 3k dial with a reliable Miyota and sacrifice thinness

Is the thicker bezel on the 3k very noticeable? Its very strange 3k based their rep on a dated version of the gen (without the Swiss made text), which while isn't a tell, is a bit annoying that it's not the latest version like the ZF.

IMO it is not noticeable. Well, if you give me a gen and let me strap both of them on my wrist side-by-side, then yeah it is. When you receive the watch you will know how nicely finished it is and enjoy it as its own piece of art.

Looks like 3K hasnt quite got the dial right either. Too much contrast between the centre of the dial and the periphery.

Are those stock 3K rubber bands? I thought 3K bands were supposed to be quite rubbish but they look good here.
