when I originally ordered mine TD told me it’s one of the most popular models he’s getting orders for rn.
Worth the wait though
I'm waiting a month for QC pics also.
Just hoping when I get them it's a decent example, not a reject from one of you guys also waiting

i received my QC for my KMF clasp and its terribly misaligned and looks poorly finished , i have been made to understand from my TD that most of the KMF clasp coming out now is the same. Has anyone else experienced the same issues? any suggestions for an alternative besides gen ? also hoping for some feedback from those of you who have already got your straps and clasp , how is it ?

On my 3K clasp I have to adjust it a little bit to get the right alignment after closing. I have heard that the ZF clasp is superior to the rest, but due to inconsistencies between factories your KMF straps might not fit the ZF clasp. So, if you want to upgrade get the ZF straps and clasp.

I wouldnt expect perfect fit as crossing factories. If the combination of the lug holes and case holes is so off then it wouldn't fit at all. The community perceives the ZF as superior, so I don't think anyone has tried KMF straps on 3K yet.

IMHO, the dials are very different. It also depends on the lighting conditions. The ZF dial has significantly more sunburst. It's also not as refined as the 3k sunburst. The geo pattern lines are also different on the ZF. I'll take some comparison photos tomorrow in natural light

Thank you. I know that 3K dial is very close to gen but do you think ZF dial is an instant tell?

I am concened with how the watches look at wrist distance. For me, I honestly dont think others can see what what the font or the thickness of the date window is at wrist distance.

They are both great watches by themselves. But compared to the gen, a replica will always be a replica by the end of the day.

I’m still gonna take a slightly thin datefont over a very shiny dial any day
time to bust up my black sharpie and thicken the date font a lil

I am inclined towards ZF for the numeric index over 3k unfortunately which the latter is an instant tell imho
