It’s actually comparable to a Rolex sub, little higher, it was perfect for my skinny ass...

The PO looks definitely better compared to the sub lol

I love my sub, I think that picture is pre franken. Now all that isn’t gen is the movement, case, bracelet and crystal gasket. But ya that planet ocean was insane. Sold over a year ago and if this rep doesn’t do it I’ll probably get another gen.

True but in 10-15 years the sub would have aged better in terms of looks. However since we're buying replicas that cost less than 1/10th of the real price it doesn't matter. We'll always have enough money to buy the latest version.

Totally disagree, that PO is every bit as nice as the sub, and will age just a gracefully. I don’t know if you’ve been reading the post but it’s a gen. I don’t think the rep is going to look like that but I’m hopeful. Who cares if you can always buy the latest version if they never get it right.

Personally I'd be a lot more interested in Omega if so many of the models were not too big for my liking. 36 - 40mm is optimum for my taste. I'm very fond of my Constellation. The PO 39.5mm release is exciting.

Exactly why they made the LMPO in 39.5. I’ve loved them forever but even that 42 mm I can see daylight under the lugs.

I like the look of Omega watches, more than I like Rolexes. They are much more contemporary but in my opinion they will not age as well as the Submariner. The submariner has a classic (a bit old man) design like most Rolexes.

The 5 digit submariner in my opinion looks better today than the Bond seamaster and 2500 Planet Ocean.

I know what you’re saying but I can’t say I agree, I would prefer any omega to the 5 digits, except they don’t wear good for me which is where this 39.5 comes in. Not to mention the ceramic dial and bezel is unbelievable, it’s really like they went out of their way to contrast Rolex designs at every corner. I truly believe that this latest design has given them a much broader audience. Not a just people who can rock an ankle bracelet on their wrist.

I have a gen previous generation Seamaster 300 Professional which I love and I think that should age better than the current design. I think simplicity wins long term but I do like the wave design as well. After discovering this forum I think that will be the one and only gen that I'll ever own!

The latest watch i have on order is behemoth Deep Black Planet Ocean. I wonder if it'll look ridiculous on my 6.5 inch wrist.

Ya I hear ya, I’ve got a sickness for the no date simplicity,I’m usually wearing the no date sub, or a Milgauss no date. Even the magnifiers kinda wear on me. My other sickness is DLC. That deep black is beautiful, but that watch would be wearing me.
