VSF doesn't have the tech to make liquidmetal bezels. The 43.5 PO had a shiny bezel but engravings were visible. The Spectre bezel has dull numbers but their closest work yet. The bezel on this release looks akin to the 42mm CrPo based on pictures posted on TrustyTime.

Those bezels in the video are definitely not engraved. Not liquidmetal, but very close to gens indeed.

Tbh I had one of these in gen, I sold it very unhappily and have been hoping/waiting for this release. I’m not saying I’m an expert but that bezel doesn’t look anything like my gen. It looks like a noob I had years ago or the first steinhart ceramic bezels. The other VSF PO’s I’ve seen look stunning. Engraved and filled with paint to fill the bezel a bit. Not perfect but I feel as close as you can get without doing the actual liquidmetal process. The gen numerals are flush but clearly distinguished, they don’t get washed out with the light. I have to say I may cancel my order, I’m sure everything else on the watch is great but let’s face it. It’s debut was the “Liquidmetal Planet Ocean” if the bezel is bad, who care has the rest of the watch is. I’ll bet it’s impossible to get a gen one.

Lighting is super important to a ceramic bezel, can make it look like crap or absolutely fantastic.

Pretty cool to see that the gen looks to have a ceramic/matte bezel in some angles even though it’s polished and LM.

There really isn’t any matte look to it tbh. It’s the deepest most shiny black ceramic. The numbers pop off so bright at all angles because of the liquidmetal. I really don’t see that on the vsf.

But look at this one, to me it looks like a completely different bezel construction. I can see the slight indentations in the numerals and they appear to be somewhat seperate from the bezel. I think this one looks great,taken from a recent sales post vsf 43.5

They’re definitely different bezel construction from gen but why would they be different from 39.5 to 43.5? So stupid. The vsf is the only LMPO that doesn’t have that awful noob style bezel. It’s not even close

Guys... my VSF PO42 has a bezel diameter of 40mm. I wonder what is the bezel diameter on this 39.5.
In other words: Im afraid it's just too small.
(and too thick, for the diameter)
The dial looks very shrunken. Proportions are weird.

Not in comparison to the gen.. but in general.
