I swear by the JF 15450; it’s a brilliant watch. I have a 6.75” wrist and found the JF 15400 too chunky. The JF 15450 however wears wonderfully. While the thickness is +10% from gen, the JF at 37x 10.8mm is a really well proportioned case by its own right. It’s a great balance between sporty, casual and formal

Looks like the dial on the JF is a bit lighter than gen, this that the case in first person as well?

Do anyone know a mod to thin 15450 to 10mm without sending it out to a modder?

Hey Nivka , thanks for chiming in mate. Do you think you could take a couple wristies the same angle as the gen ones I posted. From your pics I can’t notice the thickness difference.

nice, i don't think its noticeable on wirst??

I don’t think the extra beef is noticeable on the wrist.

It’s only when you take the watch on/off and play around with it....it just “feels” huge compared to gen (which feels more delicate).

It’s like thin card vs printing paper. They look the same, difference in thickness is a few microns...so they look the same....but in the hands they feel completely different.

Very helpful thread. Didn't realise JF 15450 was thicker than gen. I have also owned both 15400 and 15202 and found both to sit too large on my 6.9 inch wrist. As someone said earlier it is about personal preference; my sweet spot is 36 to 40 mm case sizes.

To pick up on an earlier query are there any modders that can do the mid case / caseback shaving mod in the EU to get thickness closer to gen?

Thanks.

Slaughterer, but he’s not taking any more of those mods ‘till September I believe. Not sure on anyone else, I’d like to know myself.

Yea Gen APs 15400 / 15450 / 15202 are known for being slim, 15400/15450 being under 10mm and the 15202 under 9mm. The reps unfortunately aren’t (apart from the quartz) I’m awaiting my 15202 quartz and have 6.7 wrist, I’m hoping that it will sit nicely as it’s 39 mm. It’s those flat lugs that give them the extra size we shall see.

Would really like a 15450 black dial with thinned case, as I think the finish looks pretty good.
