I’d check with legend to see if he can polish the bezel screws to sunken it a bit like the gen (& somehow make them feel larger/more substantial). I’m pursuing a gen now just because of that drawback
The screws on the gen royal oak (any royal oak) are in general imperceptibly sunken and likely appearing flushed with the bezel more than visually sunken. I’ve seen mods on reps that make the screws look too sunken and this is wrong and aesthetically not pleasing at all even when not compared with the gen.
Also the size of the screws on the rep jf15400 and 15450 look accurate. Remember that the screw decoration on the Royal Oak is about refinement and aesthetic appeal. One can argue that the screws on the gen are sunken but among all my gens (and I’ve wellover 10 gen APs at this point) none of the bezel screws appear to be obviously sunken to me. They’re always highly polished and appear to be either flushed with the bezel or very very slightly sunken. I’m talking about a hair’s breadth here.
Most of the screws on the reps which I’ve seen are accurate in this regard though the finish and alignment can be improved a bit.
I just love my 15450, for a smaller wrist, it fits just perfectly. Only major flaw is the thickness but being in Europe, finding a modder is quite complex to do the thinning. Nethertheless, watch was complimented by several watch "non specialists" who knew of RO but not in detail enough to notice the wrong thickness.
