126610 from Clean factory

Rehaut and the pearl looks way better then on VSF. Bracelet is ARF. Bezel insert (LOL) is Clean.
Wondering how smooth the Movement will be.
The Lugs seem to be a bit thicker then on my VSF 126610LN, I will measure them out as soon as i get the watch. Could be illusion.

If you have time do for us a comparison of the two watches, VSF vs clean factory.

Not for me thanks, every Clean watch seems to have this 'instant tell' white gasket around the crystal. I don't know why they can't fix this, other makers seem to get this right.

It should be clear/transparent. Have a look at other premium Sub reps, you won't see a white ring around the glass. It's especially noticeable on a black bezel. Noob did the same with the Daytona, most folks swap them out for a clear one, I did.. but this was because there was no better Daytona rep to choose from and it's a job you don't want to have to do if you don't need to .. there are other Subs that don't have a white ring to deal with.

Genuine Rolex gaskets are not clear/transparent, they are a white colour too!
It might have more to do with the crystal edge profile on rep types.

I think these look good...I just much prefer the wider/thicker lugs on the older 114060/116610 Submariners.

Good to know it's just a crap crystal, still there are other comparable Subs without the white ring/crystal problem.

I based my comments on this Daytona Noob V4 gasket, when compared to Noob, genuine/Cousins is clear as day..


..I appreciate saying they are clear/transparent is a stretch.

It’s odd that they’re using a Datejust 41 date disc and indicator seating with this watch:



Both gen and VSF are using the correct smaller disc and seating. VSF dial below on a DJ 41 disc (picture stolen from a thread on here, can’t remember who posted it):

Clean has given the 126610 a Pepsi style bezel lip.

What a cock up. This and a white gasket (or shit crystal). Way to go.. another fine mess by Clean Factory.
