Do those two watches really look similar to you?

Considering that your examples are tilted up in direct light to accentuate the sel shadow it’s not really a direct comparison. But yea, in all aspects aside from that, looks pretty spot on.

I think I’d rather just replace end links than have the lugs/CG off. Those would have to be modified.

Which is easier? End-Link/Bracelet swap or Modify?

But to each his own, these are just my opinions, not a pissing contest, no malice here.

If you look at my last photos you will see that the CF lugs are almost identical to gen, with a nice curve and well finished. The CGs of both are different from gen. And I totally agree that this is not a competition of who is right, only that for me and many others the closest to Gen is CF. I can detect a Vsf in 1 second, a CF would cost me more time.

Tete Sorry this must be frustrating for you but I still don't see it yet and it's bugging me that I am missing it.. all you did was post a bunch of pics, you didn't mark up or explain anything.

Can you do me a favour and mark on my picture below the exact spot on the lug that you refer to as being so different? Also, if you could mark up which part of the crown guard isn't 1:1 exact that would be helpful too.

You can tell from the top SELs alone its a VSF.

If I have time I will make some better photos in good light but once again clean is very good , for me cf feel better at wrist , maybe I'm lucky but winding is super smooth a had few vsf and none was so good straight from td

The other way I tell them apart is the quality of the rehaut engraving, which is obvious to the naked eye. The VSF is brilliant - my gen sits in its box and never gets worn.

Lots do. I didn't though, I wore my gen Sub and kept the VSF mint.. which may sound crazy, but my gen had 2yrs of daily abuse before I got the rep and it was all scuffed up because I wear the arse out of a watch with no mercy.

At the moment the reps are still kept mint as I'm working on this gen Pepsi here that I took the stickers off in April, I just can't get it off my wrist to get a rep on. This will potentially make some of the protective sticky plastic film dudes vomit..

That's very true. A Sub/GMT was a tool, (still is in my possession).

I agree when the gen watch is worn - the watch is for wearing. But when I waited so long for suby - I sorry wear them. Especially when rep are so “perfect”.

After all, everything I have at home I only wear gen.
