Post to an other topic but let me also write here;

I was planning to order a grey JF but now decided to wait for blue dial which is my favorite after heard that BP is in and JF V2 is coming.

There is lots of grape and gray rep examples out there with gen comparison but no blue. I think it is the real deal if well done.

I have a set of rep collection in my mind but waiting for the JF V2 Blue to start order :) It will light the fuse :):)

I wouldnt be surprised if they do make the new V2 JF Blue Dial
It might be the same Dial as the current BP except the cartel may try to promote JF Dial being the same as Gen to sell the 3132 movt ?

This is exactly the same color for JF. Why do you insist constantly? It's tiring

Both pics have pretty much same lighting condition. The difference in shade of the gray is definitely there.
Not so true actually....trust me, that's still and angle issue. Here is the rest of the comparison pics

I had a jf grey and held the gen at the AD and I couldn't see any difference (in dial color) at all...and I am picky. These sunburst dials are so difficult to compare with pics. As far as the v2 misinformation that repworld constantly spreads....well, he is the only one who has been claiming that since the day of release (we all know that there will be a v2 for the blue dial but I would not wait for the v2 for grape or rhodium as it may as well be a step backward)

I see the difference, it's not big but I clearly see the difference between gen and JF gray dial. I woudn't be able to tell it on the wrist unless I really examined it.

The grey yatchmaster looks fantastic. I would go with JF, but bracelet is a disappointment here.

I don't know what everyone is so hung up on everything ?
I can tell you the JF dial is perfect and the BP is damn near perfect as well. Maybe the blue pips are a fraction off on the BP but not enough to ever notice without a side by side comparison.
Now i think the bracelet on the JF is amazing as is the BP.
Your getting and incredible watch for a tenth of what it should be and these imperfections are so minute.
Trust me when o say you will not disappointed with either watch. The only person I know that's disappointed is my mate Dave that bought the gen a while back and now wishes he'd waited and saved himself a few grand afterthought i showed him my JF.

It cant be exactly the same. The hands will differ for a start because the cannon pinion of the SA is not the same as the ETA. There are frequently differences. I don't know what other differences there may be.

Thank @timnic54 you for this great review and fantastic photos !

The dial coronet is way better on the JF which is a massive tell on the BP.

I also find the bracelet sels to sit better on the jf. The bp has bigger gaps between the sel and lugs.

The bp looks to have better metal brushing however.

Thx again!
