strange choice from HF, imho a rubber strap or a velcro strap are the best combos for this watch
Don't mind the strap actually and easily swapped out..look forward to seeing about dial and build quality once someone receives

I've ordered the rep and I'll do a side by side comparison. I also have the gen F series. So it should be pretty interesting
My early reflections on the quality of this piece are EXTREMELY positive. The only real tells that I can identify are:
the bezel pips: my gen has a very sharp edge on the pips, with almost no bevel. The rep appears to have the typical soft edge on the pips. Also they should be perfectly mirror polished, providing an amazing contrast with the brushed bezel. Rep pips typically aren't very well polished.
The hand color: as usual too yellow. I actually do have a set of gen sub hands that appear that yellow, but this is very rare. Ideal lume color should be a greenish C3/vintage yellow mix. Ironically the color from the PAM243M is a perfect match for gen tritium color.
The CG: although not terrible by any means, the inner corners appear far too square.
Overall this looks to be an amazing rep. I'm very excited to see it in person.

Does the engraving (etching) on the caseback look very different from rep to gen ... I fear yes. Please advise.

Re etching on case back here is my gen case back for you to compare with the QC pictures. Please understand it's a well worn original so is not perfect anymore

It would be up to ALE, but basing on historical trend, new watches, especially those which have a large following, are allowed to have QC pictures posted. Anyway, I am sure ALE will visit this thread in less than 24 hours.
