Thanks for the pictures Bluffer.

I think it would be really nice if somebody could take pictures of their rep evo v6 in the exact same positions as the gen is in those images, so it could give everyone a better understanding of the watch. Side-by-side comparisons are always nice to see!

It would certainly be very helpful.

Thanks

If you are looking for accuracy compared to genuine dont buy the rose gold replicas! The color is far away from the genuine thats because the material is treated differently and replica factories are still not able to obtain the same color.
Better to stick with a SS V6. Thats the closest until NOW ; )

I think I will be going for the SS with the plain black dial, purely because I prefer the cut out of the date window better.

I have 2 questions:

1) Can the engraved rotor be replaced by a genuine or better rep version, with the correct 'Hublot Geneve' text?

2) Can the A7750 movement be replaced at any point, if the original one fails even after service? I would assume the decorated part of the movement can just be directly put on to another plain A7750 movement if needed?

I appreciate that it is probably way too early for anyone to accurately answer these questions, but I'm just brainstorming here. :)

A big thanks to ALE7575 for putting all the hard work in this epic thread.
I know I am going to have to buy a V6, thanks to this thread.

I agree with lacosta above that it's easier to spot a rep gold watch than a SS rep. The rep gold color has never been the same...period.....Therefore I am going to stick with a SS even though the blingy gold V6's look so tempting......

Just one question if some expert could answer it.....Is it possible to take out the dreaded A7750 from a V6 and replace it with a ETA 7750? Will it be an easy swap with the bridges and all the Hublot engraved paraphernalia being fitted on the ETA movement? I know it's a pricey mod but I think in the long run it will be well worth it..

Guys, time for me to jump in.
I have followed this thread from the beginning, and thanks a lot to Ale to moderate and start this.
As you may know, I am a big HBB and AP lover and I have some great pieces. I started the HBB section here about 2 years ago.

Now some news, the V6 Black Magic and also the Ice are not far from a release. I am personally waiting for these babies, but the ceramic case takes a little longer to get done.

Regarding the question of changing the bridges from the v6 movement with gen eta, yes, no problem. We have used the gen engraved eta bridges on A7750, so vise versa is no problem.

In my opinion the v6 is a great watch, I am still waiting for the gummy strap to be available.

I am ordering a v6 soon to compare it with my v1's, but do not forget a v1 was about 1k when the came out. So for 400 you get a very high end rep, swapp an Eta 7750 in it and you are done. I have not seen the lume, but on the pics it looks ok and I believe our modders can do a perfect job on it because reluming this is easy.

Ale, keep up this great post, just my 2 cents.

Hi guru

Many thanks for your kind comments about this thread.
As you know it is a pleasure for me to be helpful for all RWI members.

Thanks again for the announcement of Ice B and BM HBB V6 not far release, and for your sound advice and information about modds and adaptations with ETA 7750 and A7750
Sure they are very good news for all HBB lovers who were waiting for that.

I’m also like the HBB V6 and I'm waiting also for gummy strap.

Your useful contribution to this thread is very appreciated and was eagerly awaited.

Regards
ALE
