Gen hulk vs noob v9 vs arf

I have ordered mine from Toro, shld get it by next week. I will post pics to show you guys what I'm rocking. I am told Noob V9 has a better built and insert than ARF. I will wait and find out first hand.

On a slightly different topic, related though, why do the perfectionists not consider the height difference of the crown w.r.t. midcase, between 2824 and 3135?

I’m not an expert, but I ignore the crown height issue because I’m scared of a non 28xx movement and so I’ve purposefully never looked at examples of the difference or tried to understand it (because once I’ve seen and understood it it would be in my head).

Small price to pay for a good watch. DW's can be had for a decent price, gen around $100 and some on ebay from a reputable maker for around $35

Thought it was because the 2824 and 3135 are near as dammit the same size movement so no difference. 2836 is thicker because of the date works.

When they arrive can you please comment on the look of the bezels in daylight? They all look real close (to me) in low light but it seems like the genuine really lights up apple green in the daylight. My V9 kinda doesn't light up like that...if an ARF lightens up more I'm going to jump.

I wasn't referring to the thickness of the watch either. My point was if the movements are the same height, there is no reason for the crown height, or CG shape to be any different between 2824 and 3135. The reason they are different on the 2836 is because the movement is thicker.

Is this a serious question? The only way any normal person (not a weirdo like us) would be able to call someone on this is to get a gen right next to it and sit and scrutinise it for a long time even then they probably couldnt tell you how much the sels differ or how much the insert colour is off. Only 2% of the world are that manic... (us) the experts in the forum are in the elite they would shoot you down from a fu*kin drone plane and call you out. Haha

Noob is incorrect in terms of “shade” of rolex in the bracelet but for me is the better band, however leaving that on a v9 u wont have the gen like sel unless u mod.

Why have no insert never had the correct corner shape of the 6 and 9 marker ever. somebody please tell me why? It must be the most simple thing in the hole world, just make them round at the corners like the gen.
