Gen hulk vs noob v9 vs arf

Not all fakes...probably none of them are fakes...all different lighting conditions and, as was mentioned by another above, the inability of photos to really present the color. The Hulk is like a mystery. I swear I'm looking at mine every 30 seconds and seeing something different and sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't

Is it possible there are different gen dials on the market? What about this one?

Look on chrono24. You'll find many pieces with this kind of dial.

Read my dial guide this dial is from 2017 and is the dial used on the v8 v7 and v9 and is not period correct for the Rehaut engraving

Thanks smoke. I saw a gen recently and gave the rep to my wife. She couldn’t tell the difference with the gen side by side. Only comment and improvement I suggest to noob is to file off the edge. The corners are so sharp you can literally almost cut yourself. And easy way to tell it’s a rep. It took me about 30mins to round off some of the edge with a high grade sand paper. Of course I also accidentally scratched the link.

Why dont you ask angus?nobody tells me fuck all bro.all i did what tell tjwm exactly how to design the new watch and hope thwy acually carry out my orders.ive not heard from angus in a couple months.he aint emailed me or wass app etc etc or nothing

They need to listen up and make changes. Saed is the only TD who has stock ARF hulk at the moment it seems. Im gonna pull on that and if angus/ARF have listened to you grab one of them when/If they release.

V9 insert isn’t good enough out the box imo.

I contacted Sead through his email. I’m sure it can be found in his forum section.
i posted the first two out of the box pictures (on another forum) and the next response was a comment regarding the placement of two of the bezel numbers.
i like the watch, I’m happy with it. I think it’s one of the best reps I’ve owned.
im hesitant in posting pictures to open it up to “macro vision “ inspection.
anyway I don’t pictures do the watch justice.
the hulk is an angle watch. It’s appearance can change in the flick of the wrist.

So just to reconfirm (and yes i am being lazy) i have read in this or the v9 thread... but

I have a noob v9 and an ARF incoming. I aim to hybrid them.

I read this is the best course of action -

V9 case with ARF band, ARF insert, ARF xtal?

Unsure if i made the xtal bit up. Would it be better to get an upgraded one off ebay?

I was going to then put the v9 bits on the arf case and sell as a hybrid in m2m. Unsure if this would work.

Anyone have any other advice regarding best way to get the best out of the hybrid?

(Also does anyone know the exact gasket i need for the xtal?)

Thanks mate, since realised this from putting some research in today. Will be putting a Gen aftermarket in if possible. Finding it hard finding one with the double AR as per gen though. I read Sonil was selling them in UK. Unsure if anyone has used him or knows any other resellers that are worth looking at?

try smoke, he usually has some gen xtals for sale

if you don't want actual gen, a Prof crystal is a nice alternative
