Noob v9 just appeared

Hi,

I just received my QC pics - and given the recent sentiment that Ryan's new batch seems to have flush SEL's. I wanted to know if that was case here. I have asked for a more angled pic showing the side for depth of the recession but haven't received. Given the lighting of the current pics it looks like its pretty flush. Is this a GL or wait and hope for the best?

I havent saw one v9 with recessed sels as gen. maybe the odd one has got the tiniest recess but not anywhere close to gen. It seems to be a common thing.

I’ve just done a Molotow paint mod on my V9.

1. Get the 127HS one4all silver metallic paint marker
2. Shake well before applying 1 or 2 drops on the triangle/numbers
3. Use a toothpick to push the paint and let it seep into the grooves evenly
4. Let it dry for at least 30 min
5. Clean up the excess paint outside of the engravings with a cotton bud or tissue paper dipped in acetone (nail polish remover)

Will try to get pictures up later.

Hi this is my hulk v9 off Ryan/InTime it came today, very quick suprising only took about a week to the U.K.

anyways these are Some pics sat next to my genuine bi metal sub 2017

it looks and feel good to me, apart from the opening and closing of the clasp. And when you move your hand you can hear the movement inside the watch. Looks wise and feeling I’d say it feels amazing.

However I do realise the insert is pretty light compared to the genuine which looks more black ish in duller lighting. In the sun however I reckon it looks good you guys give me your opinions. Many thanks

Looks great Say what movement did you order? Shouldn’t be able to hear the rotor move when you move your hand. At least not the 2836 eta. Not sure about the 3135 clone

It’s the 3135 movement. It’s nothing obvious maybe because I’m looking out for anything lol.

My friend actually bought brand new hulk today i went to seeing and took some pics against my genuine bi metal sub, didn’t bother taking my v9 as I’ve heard horror stories and didn’t want embarrassing, I’ve taken similar pics with my v9 so I’ll post pics below. 2 with genuine hulk and 2 with my v9

Wow, Chazing is getting faster. I placed the order for the v9 LN on Tuesday and received QC pictures today. Now I'm getting a little excited

They both look great. To my eye, the first two are probably the V9 because it seems the lugs are more square, like all the V9s we have seen since the first good batch. But it's a small enough difference that it might just be the angle.

Just wondering, how accurate is the green sunburst effect on the Hulk dial? On mine, it seems to display light green very loudly on most angles. Not sure if that is how it is like on gens. But looking at videos of gens on Youtube, the dial remains fairly dark and will only reveal slight tinges of light green during movement.

Yeah you nailed it. The only dial that comes close is the BP one. The rest have their sunbursts go a little bit more supernova. Honestly I don't mind that actually, I really like the stronger sunburst more. The gen goes fully black more often than the rep, and is a lot more "mat" than the rep. My v6s still goes fully black also, but does so at a much smaller range of angles than the gen

But don't think the BP is going to solve all your problems. Their dials are awesome. Their lume though... as lumpy as sugar-bowl that was raped by a soggy spoon
