This is beautiful. But.....ALE why are the crown guards never correct on these? The color is good.

It's weird how sometimes they come with a wide 47mm submersible style crown, and sometimes with a skinny crown like from a 44mm Luminor 1950? They've been doing it since release almost two years ago.

I guess you could always mod it yourself. wouldn't be too hard but a pain in the ass for sure

So best try get my hands on a zfac crown guard. Should be simple enough to source one right?

I'm affraid not
And i'm not sure the material colour matches
It would be easier to make the mod with a fine file following below sample (although the chamfered should be smaller in your watch).

I have only one thing to say: don't worry about the color in the pics too much, it's different in real life than in many pics I see, more similar to the one you linked. Check the CG is correct and the patina is developed evenly. Good luck :)

Ok guys I got my QC. Again no chamfer on the edges of crown guard. Not sure what's going on with that.

Sounds like one of those KW "unconsistence" "current" batch problems.
I bet you are going to have a "hard time" sourcing a correct chamfered CG unit.
If you want a KW "bronzo" NOW, I would suggest to choose one with a correct bezel-dial alignement, even patina and...

I can always re-align the bezel.. thats easy to do. I would clean the patina and start over. modding the cg with take a lot of patience and careful filing of the edges. very very careful!

Again, do i really want to do this...NO! My TD is going to ask KW about crown guard edge. So I'm sure i will have to wait until tomorrow or so.

@ALE7575 could you give your input my friend.

The watch is the typical PAM382 Seagull NON-inverted
Unfortunately, like it happens in last batches, chamfered of CG corners are missing.

I can also seem that upper stroke of 5 in 45 bezel marker has not paint enough
Whereas upper stroke of 3 in 30 bezel marker has a lot of paint excess

Well, I wouldn´t never said re-alingn the bezel is an easy thing :)
I'm a little "fed up" with certain "KW" unconsistences found lately :phbbbbt:
Anyway, if you are not in a hurry, and you still have forces and the mood needed to ask your TD to source a good one, DO IT, keep pushing.
Wish you patience and good luck !!!.
