Ive used DHL twice so far both times had my watch in 2 days from Hong Kong to NY. It's definitely worth the extra few dollars for it.

My Puretime order left Guangzhou Customs via EMS on the 13th.....fingers crossed. If it does get siezed in Chicago, anybody have any luck with getting a refund/credit from Puretime?

Just ask them to send a new one through Hong Kong post or from a different shipping company.
They can refund your or store your money as credit for another purchase later on.

So mine ended up going through San Francisco customs (EMS). I got notification that it was pulled for inspection, but just saw that it cleared customs and is on its way!

No rep has ever been seized in SF. Too many laid back and forgiving liberals in that city! [emoji1][emoji12]

Mine from Sead inbound to customs chi on the 15th so we'll see. I am in Colorado and it is very rare that anything comes to me through Chicago but it does happen. Probably all will be fine.

First class mail is interesting but I suspect 2-3 weeks from China. Does anyone have any idea how long? And then of course there is no tracking with first class so we don't really have any idea when to expect it or when it was sent.

I was sent and order through HK Mail, sent on June 2, received June 17 in South Florida. The tracking details showed: Leaving HK June 8; arrived at Miami USPS June 16; left Miami USPS facility June 16, arrived at Opa Locka USPS facility June 17; arrived Pompano Beach USPS facility June 17; Sorting complete June 18; out for delivery June 18. Funny thing is, i received it June 17.

I have a question for anyone who has experience in Arizona. I plan on buying a watch from one of our TD's and choosing DHL (maybe) I am moving from NY to Phoenix AZ on JULY 1st. Shipping to NY has been fairly easy choosing express or a cheaper option. The TD told me best is to ship to AZ but only because he doesnt think he can get it to me before July 1st (that was a week ago that he mentioned that) I havent pulled the trigger because i tried to grab one MTM.. So should I ship to AZ or ship it to NY and have a family member ship it to AZ?

I recently ordered with DHL shipping method. It is by far the fastest shipping method. Only 1 day from Hong Kong to Chicago US Customs to my door! Wow! This is my second order through DHL and no issues...

I have a watch comming from England to me from a private party that has been at the sorting facility in SFO since June 21, no mention of customs just arrived in sorting facility. I have had two others come and go overnight also in sfo. Do you all think my stuck one is DOA?

I wouldn't sweat it yet. Granted it's unusual for SF, the delay is probably due to weekend backup. Knocking on wood for you. Keep us posted.

Your package went through customs in Cincinnati. I concur though, DHL is worth the few extra bucks for speed and different route through customs.

You're right. Package went through customs in Cincinnati. I just received another package through DHL today. :) This time, it took 2 days but a lot better than EMS which took 10+ days. DHL shipping is way to go. TimeShops only charge $20 for DHL shipping to USA (same as EMS shipping). No-brainer which option to choose. Even with additional cost from other TDs, DHL is way to go, at least to USA.

DOA means dead on arrival. lol. no way to know that until you wind it up once you get it. haha. but what that was showing is normal. Most of my tracking always disappears for days upon days. I used to worry when I first started ordering, but I'm just used to it now and I've never had an issue yet. I've had the tracking say it's in China and then nothing shows on tracking for two weeks and then all of a sudden it's on my front porch.

I'm surprised TDs are going though DHL. It's insanely fast but I remember reading several places that as a private company, they're financially actually incentivized to nab things.
