Thanks Pil I had the insert just loosely fastened to start for the first pics,,,, then Rudy called me and pointed out that the insert was riding to high,,,, so two hours of sanding grinding and hammering and a gen crown later,,,, she's ready and my back is out! Thanks Rudy....
It's obvious even from photos on the web that the noob v2 insert is garbage. I liked my noob, but the font shape and thickness and depth and color were all wrong. Mitch is 100% right that no one should buy these reps from the TD's until they fix the issue.
This build is a whole different level!!

Finger,,,,,, What that takes brother is for this section to get together like the Pam section,,,, instead we hear about a new version and everyone says how great it's going to be, then rather one or two get orderd for review all of us publicly debate to decide if it's good.... about ten noobs buy the two versions and argue about which version is better for three months,,,meanwhile the dealers are selling garbage and nobody figures it out until it's time for a new version.....
I thought being a part of this section would be fun and instead it's been a headache and through all the mayhem for sub-c the noobs missed the really good watches that were released.... the BPSD, this new ln from BK,,,.....there's been some good releases...
Now TCs floated these crazy builds on us with great dials,,,,,there just needs to be some organizing to get the dealers to get us a good, new sub..... if you want vintage that's really easy.,,,but the new models are a pain in the arse!

That's a noob V2, not a BP SubC, that you use as base, right? Do you think the CG have the correct form factor? What about the crown height position?

Know, what you gone through. Repaired the keyless works on my GMT 2013 the day before yesterday and lost the hairlike spring, that holds the date wheel mechanism. That was a hard time!
Be a proud one, it's just stunning.
If this bezel assembly could be figured out,,, this watch would be a lot easier to work on.

Even if a Gen Bezel was possible to obtain. You would have to go to someone that had the device to take it off and put it back on!!
So we will look for a gen dial next!:hehehe:

I may do that, z... The guy seems really nice.. He doesn't know this is a Franken build,,, he asked me if I was on TRF and I'm not but I have had a friend trolling for parts for me..a lot of those guys won't sell you parts if they know it's for a Franken , They assume we would try to scam with their parts...and in that line of thinking I was in my friends coin and pawn shop yesterday, he wears a 1680 gen so he knows rolex, but I asked him if he'd seen the new ceramic model and he "yes, just one and I got screwed on it!" He said it was a remarkable fake with gen numbers...he paid 3G for it...
