ADVICE PLEASE-> Smashed Luminor Rep Crystal

My son had a mishap with his rep PAM and the crystal smashed.

I'd like to replace the crystal for him whilst he is interstate for work.

I am unsure where to obtain a suitable crystal?

I am confident of the replacement operation - my tinkering skills are about 3/10

Attached are pics with measurements of the rehaut width (both with and without the plastic gasket)

Also OD of case.

Any advice appreciated!

if so, drop him a PM.. i wont get my hopes too high tho..

not sure whether jackson has a crystal for the mini fiddy..mayb u can PM him as well..

Sadly, this is not from Angus... I bought it from another dealer here in Oz.

I don't fancy sending it away for 4 months for them to do it!

Much easier if I can get a crystal myself and refit it.

he MIGHT have parts.. but again, i cant be certain.. i'd still drop both of them a PM & if available, order the crystal from whichever dealer has it&put it in yourself..

there're plenty of tutorials that show how to take apart a watch.. also, u might as well get about waterproofing the watch as well..

CousinsUK should have a crystal that fits; the mineral ones are pretty inexpensive so you can buy a couple in different sizes just in case. in the US, Esslinger and Ofrei should have crystals too.

Yeah, we have a rep dealer in Oz. The service is not bad, the rep quality seems to be high but accuracy may be a bit off. They are not cheap but deliver overnight via express post. Fwiw the best rep I have got from them is a Fiddy PAM and and orange 45mm Omega P.O.

But anyone can get these 2 reasonably close, right?

Those guys are over priced asses who advertise the cases are medical grade 440 stainless. Might take an extra week, but I'd stick with the forum TD's any day of the week in preference to being diddled.
