I have been hearing that the bracelet is made by the same supplier that did the bracelet for the Exp2 (for all I know it may be the same freak'n bracelet. I can speak for the sub, but I have been to the AD to look at the gen Exp2 many MANY Times (the mall across from my office has a Rolex boutique). I have fondled the rep while in my pocket as I held the gen and I swear I couldn't tell the difference in the feel of the bracelets or claps (both functioned the same and had the same spaces, gaps etc.).

If someone here has both the v2 sub and the exp2 (I am sure there are a ton of you), can you tell me if it's the same bracelet. If that's the case, I think I have a big difference of opinion with those knocking the bracelet.

I have both and they are definitely not the same. The explorer links move in and out wheras the subs are solid fixed pieces.

Great pictures weppi. Clearly they are two different style links....could still be made by the same supplier. Anyway, most of the reviews on the bracelet have been positive.

Then something is wrong with your exp II man!! i have it too, and it doesn't have hollow links !!you didn't have luck and got a bad one then, because i can assure you i had 3 noob exp II in hands and none had links like this!! both bracelets is definetly made by the same maker and angus confirmed it a fews minutes ago!! go back to the seller who sold you this noob exp II with theses links really!!!
And it's something you should now is wrong, and if all exp II were sold like this, trust me a lot of our members would said something and complained to Angus that's for sure!!

Wow, the subc looks great in that picture. For all the criticism I am hearing about the cyclops, that looks like “blackhole" effect to me.

I left it this afternoon to him, he will install bp's insert with the noob pearl, and bp hands and dial... Can't wait to see the result, should look even better...
All i need now is a gen crystal, found one on ebay, but it has a small notch at 2oclock so waiting for a better one

Unfortunately - but less surprisingly - I couldn't do a 1:1 at the AD, cause I'd've needed to put my rep on the table there, which you simply DON'T. Plus, I would've rendered my whole "plz show me the green Sub that I'm strongly interested in"-pitch utterly senseless and could never go back there...not worth it...

As I said, from memory (remember: At the AD, I had my rep hidden in the pocket, but I'd worn it till 5 mins before entering the AD, aaand I had a looong and hard look to my rep before putting it away...), the rep green and the gen green somehow differ. Not sure if it's the brightness, or hue, or saturation....it somehow seemed different -- then again, we all now what a brilliant chameleon watch the Hulk is.....so, maybe under the same lights at the ADs, my rep would've looked identically green like the gen......hard to tell for sure...

As I said before: I'll try to do a full comprehensive comparison with my brothers gen Hulk when we see each other the next time...which could easily be months though....

He is a great watch smith if he can make the BP insert work on the Noob V2 because all the expert modders here can't make it work.
Very interested if he can do magic

do you think he will be able to fit the noob pearl on the bp insert,and will it fit the noob ?

i hope he will be able to make it work for the bezel, i brought him both watches, after tearing apart the bp, then the noob, he told me that he thinks it should be possible with somes extra mods,( installing the all bezel) hoping he will... lol And even if it's really not possible, well, i ll just have to wait and hope that the new noob insert will be as good as we hope...
And for the pearl yes it can fit the bp's insert..

I really need to change that insert because next to my gen GMT c II TT the difference of deepth of the insert is very visible... and gives it away in seconds, but when on my wrist, no problems only compliments!

They are gen like. If you want them more like the current model you can buy a BP sub and take them from there.
