Noob released a new AP Diver. Now called V4.1...

That's way too low. If I were to buy a v4.1 it would run me 375 shipped. If I were to resell my diver @ 250 I might as well send it for a thicker lume and relume job and it will come back even better than a 4.1 and I'd be out of pocket the same give or take.
That's the thing. It won't.
None of the relumes get the bezel number as good as the 4/4.1...

I had 3 relumed 3.5 Divers. ( Goin, VAC, PBDad ) Let me help you save some money. None will look like the new inner bezels on both of these new versions. They will be better, but the size of the font will still be off. Also, reluming a 3.5 is not cheap because it takes a lot of work and skill. A 4.0/4.1 Diver will run you $350 or so and you have a great rep with no mods needed.
The best of the 3 was VAC. But they can only thicken it so much. I shared the same belief as you, until I had them in hand. Like I said, you will end up spending $800 + and not have an accurate an inner bezel as these $350 watches. I'm just sharing this with you so you don't go wasting your money.

Goin himeself have stated it is impossible to thicken the lume, so that's that. I would not be surprised one bit that angus and his inner circles of friends been rocking their divers' with the correct inner bezel long before now. I willing to bet money that there are another parts out there for other watches that they are holding out.

It's probably not, because only about 1% of people you meet will have a clue that your watch is an AP, and 0.0000000001% will start looking at the thickness of the bezel numbers!

True. But if you live in So Cal, NYC, Miami, more people know what the brand is. But even if they do, very few would know what to look for.

No one I know will know what to look for that's for sure. I don't think anyone I know even knows what AP is. Long time ago I was passed down a Vacheron jump hour and I think only one person ever knew what it was while it was on my wrist. Walking about outside it's hard to tell the bezel thickness, but the fact that I know bugs me haha. Recently, looking at my roos I can't help but be bugged by their inaccuracies, I was at AP and after looking around inside and then going back to rep it's flaws stands out that much more pushing me to go gen lol (most likely 57th st).
It is deadly to spend time in an AP AD. I just spent two days in the Paris AD looking at 6 or 7 models. When I got home, I hated looking at my reps.
