Zimmerman had no legal authority to engage than kid. Period. No purpose was served with the engagement. Trayvon Martin should not have died that night. Zimmerman is responsible for this boy's death. His acquittal does not erase his responsibility as the ONLY adult in that engagement.

The knee-jerk NRA lapdogs who enable the stand-your-ground rationalization that forgives Zimmerman of his responsibility here have this boy's blood on their hands, and it will not wash out.

I will tell you what sickens me about that biased You Tube disgrace from Whittle: The image of Dr. King in a hoodie. That is the most vile and disgusting thing that I have seen in a very long time. Shame. Shame. Shame Bill Whittle.

Actually, some very right wing folk I follow on Twitter due to their stance on veterans, Bengazi and a few other things who I would have expected to blindly support Z in this are appalled and reviled at the verdict. It gives me hope that all in not lost for the USA. Hell, I'm pro gun (but not blindly pro NRA I might add) but I'm equally appalled at this turn of events.

Interesting. I have a close friend who works for the Aussie government. I won't disclose the branch. Seems like our countries have similar political segregation.

TB , no normal human agrees with one party. I voted for Bush, and Dubya the first time. I am a registered independent. But as a minority , there are experiences I can tell , that some folks here can't. The Republican Party today is nothing more than an extension of the evangelical movement , combined with segments of racial groups. Hate groups quadrupled when Obama took office. It's very sad.

Roger Ailes, the guy who runs Fox news, is unabashedly conservative and was one of the authors of Nixon's southern strategy to divide the country.

He has never hidden his bias or his agenda yet the idiots that watch Fox are taken in by the simplest Orwellian "fair and balanced" moniker.

The country is pretty evenly split between red and blue. Only Fox targets their 47% leaving the other 53% to be split by actual news sources.
