You sound like you're ovulating. I am not sure why you are so upset. You asked a clear question and it was answered. Apparently you can't be bothered with pulling up a picture of a gen and putting this next to it for comparison. If I showed my 10 year old he could tell the glaring defects. Macro pics are not necessary. The fact that you are told EVERYTHING IS WRONG is not an insult. It's the truth. This is a forum and we assume that we are interacting with grown adults. I don't think anyone here would've thought that we were emotionally damaging you for life. Relax a little and don't take things so seriously.

The clue is in the word, the watch has to replicate the gen.

The makers of that watch didn’t give a damn about making it remotely like gen therefore it doesn’t even make replica grade.

op the thing is, nobody is gonna waste time to give you a fully detailed breakdown of the flaws of this watch for you to better understand when it’s so immediately fake to begin with. If it were a high end rep people would look at it closely and discuss it.

I'll probably get roasted for this too, but just being honest. As a newbie, I can't see the big differences you guys see, even looking at them side by side. I see the bezel color and the end links, but that's it. It's clear I've got lots to learn..

So this kinda blew my mind. Like... really.
I 100% considered a fake and a rep to be the same thing before today. I didn't understand why everyone's crotch was so chaffed by the question.
I legit thought that "if a watch looks similar to _______ therefore its a rep of ________."
I was super frustrated when someone said "its not even close enough to gen to critique" or something along those lines. I thought... "It looks like a Pepsi GMT, how is that not close enough to gen to discuss?"
Of course i'd been roasted into oblivion by that point so I made the obvious choice to keep my mouth shut lol. I honestly didn't understand that statement.
When I write (type) this ----> fake vs replica <---- as I sit here, my mind definitely conjures two different things in terms of those words when contrasting them to each other. But I would have used them interchangeably in conversation before today. If someone asked "is that a rep?" or "is that a fake?" the answer would be the same, "yeah."

Yes, I should have looked at gen pics before asking, but I didn't realize that.
Retrospectively, I was lazy. I (thought) I preferred or desired the detailed perspective of the "experts" here to my untrained eye attempting to see everything ya'll see if I had looked at gen photos myself.

I do respect the volume of information and wisdom here.

You bought a rubbish copy for $100 without looking at any pics of genuine, what did you really expect?
