Where is that? I had to buy an watch just to take out the movement.

Its the Chinese Seagull Hangzhou 5000 micro rotor movement. You are right, you need to buy the watch completely (approx $200) if not buying in bulk.

Yep, that's the one. $200 is still cheap for me to fix movement (given that's the only route) given I spent $688 for the entire watch :p
It’s a bummer you had issues rather quickly after getting the watch. Were you able to find someone who’s willing to work on the movement?

Received my QC pics 3 days after ordering which I have accepted. The cupping of that jewel doesn’t look as bad as some previous references.

Strange that it had ZF tags even though Trusty, Puretime, etc all day it’s a PPF model… hope the movement holds up for a bit before an eventual service :)

In order to put the strap I had to purchase the below adapter

https://watch2parts.com/products/wa...ilippe-nautilus-40mm-watch-steel-band-adapter

But it was not an easy process because

-The bars that came with the adapter where bigger than the holes of the watch. So I use the one that the watch has (no big deal)

-The adapters are not sit properly ( I’m thinking a way to solve it)

-The strap that I order was manufactured for the RG version of the watch, thus I had to trim a little bit.

But the result is quite good for version 1 attempt
