Have you tried the ARF oyster on your BLRO yet? That model uses a different size springbar with different size tips and a good fit can take some wrangling I've heard.

All good there too :)

I used BLNR springbars I found through a vendor on amazon.

Best I can explain it, the holes on the BLNR case are smaller than the BLRO case. But the BLNR springbar barrels are thicker than the BLRO spring bars. I had to choose between play inside the bracelet, or play inside the hole in the case. Went with the latter.

Plan to pick up a caliper to measure the hole/barrel differences so I can order the correct aftermarket spring bar.

That looks really good, I like a brushed oyster on the Pepsi too. This Noob Pepsi has a JF Sub bracelet on it. Photo credit m5smg2

Absolutely love this watch. By far my favorite rep thus far. I hope that AR Factory continues to produce such quality pieces. I followed the instructions for setting time and date stated in the gen manual and had no problems with the hour jumping feature. As other users advised I was gentle and didn’t rush the process and had zero issues. The movement feels amazing and keeps great time. On top of that the watch itself looks and fantastic OOTB. I was considering upgrading some parts, but honestly don’t see the need once I had this watch in hand. If your considering a buy, do yourself a favor and grab one ☝️.

Got a finer lady on the left???

Whatever anyone thinks. I've bought them in all brands and Gen for a decade and not a single one has been more striking OOTB. More than happy to see a better one. This is the ARF3186 forum. It started out a Franken project and nothing is jumping up as needing improvement. Crystal, maybe. Still haven't popped the case to examine the SH3186. I'm gonna do that once it finally loses five seconds.

My ARF 116710 wasn't waterproofed and it annoyed me as I installed a GEN dial, GEN hands, GEN DW and few GEN movement parts.

The leakage was coming from the crown and no wonder why... the tube had been glued by our good friends at ARF

Damn bro that's some sorry shit. Thanks for sharing, hope you can get it sorted without major loss. You mean the tube was not even threaded at all to the case? Wow.

Sorry to see that - if all 116710s are constructed like that plus the rising number of members who report on a stuck date wheel I think the build quality isn’t that good as initially thought.

Same, I just had oascom fix a stuck datewheel for $40 this week. The datewheel had slipped off and jumped out of alignment with the click spring. I wasn't even wearing it when it happened. I woke up to put on my favourite watch and the datewheel was weirdly stuck in place :(

I've washed it before with water and had no problems. But now I'm worried that it's not waterproofed...

This is a little disturbing to see, especially since ARF is deemed a quality factory. I can't imagine your frustration.

Luckily I anyway wanted to change the tube to waterproof the watch - glad I did... The tube isn't treaded at all to the case. When I tried to remove it, it broke in half and I realised it was glued.
I just need to remove the other half and install the GEN one :)

This is correct tube for Daytona 116520, GMT 116710 and Submariner 114060?

Keep us keep us posted as to how the crown repair goes. I don't trust these factories at their word, although the do incredible work with the 90% perfection 10% who you gonna call business motto. I've had a DJ that was DOA that had obvious repair marks and re-buffing that showed me it was a return, rework. I've also been told to just send back parts to receive repairs, seems my TD won't send a freebie unless they get guts back from you. I never send shit back. They get chopped. Curious about the ARF tube. The crown lines up perfectly with the same amount of turns and the threads look same as gen. Doesn't mean Gen will fit no prob, but I was considering a gen crown and did some detail comparison.

Please anybody comment as to the crown fitting, and possibly even lining up without machining.
