Yes. That was one of the updates to the v3 no more of the 3x mag and fat dw combo! Unfortunately my ARF LN suffers from that flaw so its a bad comparison but part of the problem is on camera and on screen this dw looks normal ( like in this pic) and in person something looks lower then it should and I can tell if its the dw or mag...

Actually, I don’t think it is lower than 2.5x. It actually look awesome to me. I remember seeing complaints about Arf cyclop being too big like 3x. Yours looks 2.5x and perfect IMO.

What I also noticed on the pics is that the crystal is a bit crooked. But no big deal. I have a gen TT Datejust where it is even more crooked and it doesn’t bother me :D

Very nice looking watch bro. ARF has fixed the insert issue where the right side engravings were too far right.

Its available as both. The pics i posted are of the 3135 Model. Intime and Puretime have them now. They just didnt list them earlier.

From what I read here they changed the cyclop to correct magnification, datewheel font improved and insert numbers are aligned better in the ring.

The lugs look a little slimmer to me also.

Does the crown sit flush to the case when screwed in? Sadly ARF is really bad about being consistent on this.

Can’t say I’ve noticed a crown issue on the handful bluseys I’ve handled.

I do know that crowns sit all over the place on my used gens. Don’t think ARF has a crown issue IMO....not the ones I have sourced anyway

Cyclops and date font look worse on that last pic than my one last month ( maybe I caught the latest anyway ) , case looks same to my eye looking at the one I have.

Il add one to my next order anyway to check out

That one looks great!

The ARF issue is with the case hole sometimes (way too often) not being countersunk so the first larger diameter bulb of the tube can't be recessed. This is pretty well known - I've seen it on Subs, SD43, even Daytonas. There have been threads about it, here's a couple. People have actually grinded some off the end of the tube to "fix" this eyesore.

I saw it recently on an ARF V3 Sub on RG, exact same flaw. Member rejected it and got a better one.

I've only ever seen this flaw on an ARF rep.

I've actually seen a few gens like that

I've seen some that didn't fit flush to the case, I linked a TRF thread with pics in the first link of my post. But it wasn't because of an improperly countersunk tube hole. Definitely an ARF QC problem, instant reject IMO.

Here's that link. I don't agree with everything said in it. I've owned 4 gens and never had anything but flush fit.
