I am about to have the lugs of my YO 16613 (that means You're Old, to the former owner, It doesn't mean shit guys so just roll wit me, aight?) lugs drilled. It has the 80's open 6 & 9, round 3 serif date font. It be a bad ass when I can find that early 16613 or late 16803 Swiss-T25 dial.

Is that SEL center link step indicative to the SEL's only....I mean the hollow EL's are just a flat end link with a radius right? So on a gen SEL or EL, how is that middle link of the Oyster end link/solid end link solid 18k gold?

Did that make any sense?

Looks like an older MBW with the left of center "swiss made". Although the sel gap blows as well as the pearl I'd still buy it because that dial has great color. The insert can easily be swapped for a wm9 insert fromTC/BK. The bracelet on these is also very good. Definitely pick this up if you can.

Hope you plan on picking up a new DW and insert. Those on that watch are garbage and that your sel fits better then what's pictured. That's some poor sel fitment. Won't matter what's gen on your watch if that's present.

Not all cases accept gen bracelets. Width and lug hole placement greatly varies even when the maker states "1:1".

Ok I might be out of my mind, but this dial looks identical to what I call my YO 16613. Better pearl though, same dw...
This is the one I plan to have the lugs drilled on.....make a late 80's version.

Great thread guys...Imma need to take some way way better pics of my to show the real dial color and such if i am gonna get some solid answers to "What are these"?

Hey guys I received my 16613 from TD and the dial of the actual watch looks purple instead of blue.. Even the insert looks purple.. Any comments?

I tried taking pics of it and apparently not able to bring out the actual purple of the watch I received.. Is it correct that the dial looks purplish in gen?

Yep, purple. Been there done that. Some reps have that purplish tinge to them.
