It should. I had a 78363 bracelet on my old wm9 pictured at the beginning of the thread.

Bump, posted this on a sales thread on RG, figured I would pass it on to the guys here...

I've got some good photos in my build threads for those who don't understand the difference between a wm9 bracelet and a WSO bracelet with solid gold end links. Both bracelets have "hollow" links, the difference is wm9 uses brass as a base and then plates the centre links with gold. People refer to is as wrapped because the plating is so thick, but don't be fooled the gold will still fade and chip off.

Wm9 bracelet (was mine)

Notice the chipping on the underside of the end link...

Here's a reference for the plating, hard to see but the first .5mm from the outside is gold (darker colour), then you see a line transitioning to brass (also a gold colour)

Interesting, does the wm9/"wrapped" gold bracelet have significantly better wear characteristics than the gold plated bracelets supplied with current TT reps or is it illusory.

Probably do...there's posts if you search the archives that speak to George talking about how much thicker the wm9 plating was. Again that's where it got its label of "wrapped".

The wm9 bracelets are relatively old to date, you don't hear much about them chipping or fading, but they do. I would imagine they hold up better but that's an assumption.

My old franken on wm9 bracelet for a short period, it was brilliant.

This may be a stupid question but I have heard about 16613's with solid gold mid links on the bracelet. They are hollow but still gold. Anyone know which maker had that? I want one because I usually stay away from gold reps or TT reps because I'm afraid the gold bracelet being an easy tell.

The only bracelets i've ever heard of with solid gold mid links are Wholesale Outlet (WSO) and ST (aside from Gen). I've never seen a rep bracelet with solid gold mid links and if it was it would be minimum $900.00. Rep bracelets come plated or "wrapped" and honestly at the end of the day they are virtually the same. Its just a matter of how well its been plated...

Thanks for the info, I would probably try to source a Gen bracelet if I got a 16613. The 16613 will probably be my first Gen purchase because I just love the classic design and the way the dial pops. If not Gen then I would Franken one with all gold surfaces being replaced as solid. I know it's probably a pipe dream but I tend to aim high lol

Gen hollow end link bracelet will run you around $1400 and a gen SEL bracelet +$2200...if you can find one.

That's why most go for WSO or ST. At $900 you can't go wrong.
