That looks good. It loooks nice. At first I thought it was the same as this one I have.
But it’s not. Although the color is similar but I dont think my camera did a good job of catching the color.
This was when I ordered the Vecchio Marine and it wasn’t anything like the pic. So this is what they sent me. It wasn’t anything like what unwanted but I just took it. I often wonder which one it is though.
I grabbed a few new ones last week that I’ve been playing with.
I grabbed a simona gator that I love. Especially with the 243. I think it looks amazing on it.
I also grabbed an oem panerai green canvas and it’s nice - and comfortable actually. The lengths are odd 115/110 but it works well actually. I never would have guessed. I was a little reluctant but a friend sent it and urged me to try it.
I also grabbed a few micha Dirksons and a Kostas.

Also in case anyone is interested DC Strap has a sale going on. €55 for a choice of a handful of straps already made that he used for pics. There were some nice straps in there. I almost purchased a few but then held off. I wanted to put on the brakes for a bit. But he had some nice straps on sale.

Fresh arrival from Greece, a bit thinner then most my Pam straps but still looks good I think, excellent work.

Yep, also second Woundup's comment. I'm also a fan of the curved buckles.
Is that 5mm in thickness?
It's lighter in color then in the website pictures, but overall quite similar, closer to website pictures then most Corrigias are
Thickness is 4mm, I also prefer the curved buckles.

Yeah me too. I always prefer the curved buckles. They’re a much snugger fit.
I was watching a Kostas live video last year and he was talking about how Italian soldiers used to take gpf mod buckles and hold them on a rock and hammer them with a rock to curve them so they didn’t protrude so much.
I always thought that was interesting. Tempted to try it myself on a few buckles but nah.

I am currently waiting for a strap that I ordered with GPF and the strapmaker asked if I want it curved, because he does that himself, so I ordered it curved, will show it to you guys once it arrives.

I had been on the look out for a strap to pair up with my 799 that would compliment the case color without competing with the dial and bezel, which IMO are stunning on this PAM.
A friend recently recommended that I try a DC Strap as he had always had good experiences with them. A couple of weeks ago I was checking out their site and saw their squadra model that looked nice - I then noticed that they were running a sale on all of the straps that were made specifically for the pictures on their site.... No brainer! I also bought a couple of others - 'ammo' 'and olivia' considering they were only 55e each.

Got them yesterday and I have to say that even at full price they are very good value for the quality of construction. Nicely stitched and all cuts are precise with nicely shaped keepers also. The leather isn't of the same high end quality as say a Horween, though still very nice and softened up quickly with a little massaging, which also created some texture. The buckles are not terrible either (the sewn in is quite nice).
Anyway - here are some obligatory pictures for the freaks:

Woundup I had thought the same thing not too long ago. Something that didn’t accent the 799 and tried this micha
I liked it but I’m not sure that I’d wear it.
I was playing around with a few new straps I got and I loved. A blue gator. A black distefano museum got from donkaper and the blue squadra from corrigia. One strap corrigia got right and hit out of the park. It is also breaking in so nicely.
