That seems weird to me. It's not like they had any trouble selling the first batch! I see where they're coming from though. I can wait, patience is a virtue in this game! Anyway it gave me the kick up the backside to buy a Noob Daytona I'd wanted for a while :thumbsup:

I like the steel/titanium look on the case much more. I've been saying that all along too and I didn't even know they had it as an option. I'd still like to see the carbon dial of the 979 on an all steel case and bezel.

WHY insist with the wrong crystal?????? It is such an obvious flaw, like a rolex submariner date without cyclop....
All new releases from Panerai have zero distortion crystals....
