Honest Review (Dark Side of the Moon)

This one been bugging me for quite a while.
think I like to share with people that looking to order this.

got this one from Pure (you guys should know what I am talking about).
the order experience was not too smooth.
turn down the QC picture like 4 times.
either scratched or bezel marking are uneven.
(confused why they even send the picture......)

finally approved on the picture.
took 2 months for shipping.........

Upon receiving, first glimpse looks pretty good.
However... the moment you wear it you will notice the following...

- Strap, looks "pass" but very bad quality. even for Rep.
flimsy. stitching work is a joke...

- Sub-Dial, the two arm moves together, one reset @ 12 and the other arm @ around 3
,seems to be glued together, all the new chrono seems to have the same problem.

- Date wheel, it's so light and so far back the window, barely visible

- Bezel, marking is light, barely see the numbers.

- the lumen coating barely glows in the dark

- Movement, actually looks pretty nice. even got the black balance wheel.
(and they screwed everything else up......)
however...... it stops randomly. you shake it a bit, then begin to move again...

for the price all the TD is charging for this item,
there's much better quality items to choose from.
this is a huge disappointment.

most of the deficiency is bearable.
how it randomly stop and the sub-dial is just retarded...

overall, i would give it a 5.5 / 10, don't waste your money unless your standard is this low.

I think most of the speedmaster have 3 sub-dials. if you give more details I might be able to answer you.

I initially really want a speedy till I find out the spacing issue. I don't think I can sport that. However till I discovered the two sub dial speedy. So I thought could those be better made.

Could you shed some light?

The two sub dial is a speedmaster ... speedmaster 57 as well as the new modern 'moon watch' different reference

That seems light a really good rep! is the right dial a dual time function and would you happen to know if it works?

So this is called Speedmaster 57 right? if you can link some reviews about it then it would be great.

I personally gave up on this Rep. as mentioned, the sub-dial on the right is where bother me the most.
the two arm stick together and move in the same time. will do a short clip tomorrow to show you.
and if you use the chrono. the power reserve get drain in less than 3 hrs... it's messed up.
