Guys, while this "fusion" watch is very nice, this thread is about the 116610 zzf, not about a hybrid 114060. Can we please stay on topic? Thanks

Hi guys,
My brother has wanted one of these rep 116610 for a while and I want to surprise him with one for his graduation. I’ve read most of this thread, not all of it, its really long! And I’ve read Jtimes comparisons of the watches and narrowed it down to noob and zzf (i know big surprise). I’ve also checked out the great comparison smoke made of the green zzf submariner to the gen. Really impressed with the zzf. Not here to ask which is “better” or the “the best”. Each factory has its pros and cons. Just want to learn a bit more before I choose. I actually was trying to steer him toward the no date submariner because I was afraid of getting a wonky datewheel for him, also the qc would probably be easier
But I guess no shortcuts, he likes the date and bubble. I like the simple dateless one. He won’t be modding the watch and really cares about the dial and bezel.
Just curious to know if they fixed the zzf xx rehault issue? Also what is this indentation problem? I’m a bit confused as to what a liquid dial is? Does noob not use the liquid dial? Is that why it doesn’t have this so called indentation issue (or does it)? Some say that zzf quality control is a nightmare and the watch isn’t as reliably made. Is that still true?
I wanted to buy a submariner for myself before and did a bunch of reading and research, but the wealth of knowledge and hesitation scared me off. I instead decided to buy a noob daytona from Jtime after doing a bunch of reading and learning and it was great. It was much easier to decide what watch I wanted, what to look out for, not worry about a datewheel, and easily know I wanted noob over arf because I needed a working chronograph. Not having a working chrono was a huge dealbreaker. Extremely happy and it was a lengthy but rewarding experience learning about the watch. Don’t know if its the best daytona out there or some crazy 1:1 ultra super mega rep but its the best for me. I’ll be using jtime to purchase the submariner. Purchasing a submariner has been trickier for me than a daytona. If you guys would be kind enough to answer some of my questions and if you’d like (not necessary though!) say which sub you prefer(not the best!) I would really appreciate it!
