Dial printing is great , date wheel great , finish great , but the indentation sticks out like a sore thumb

ZZF New 116610LN Submariner 3135 V2 Releasing!

I will post some photos of the V10 , I also notice that the zzf had a grey pearl where as the noob one is white , im not sure which is correct ,
Hey guys, thought I’d keep you updated. Got these pics off Li thismorning.
I think the colour looks awesome so I’m gonna go ahead and order one. This I think is the best OOTB Hulk to date. What do you guys think?

got one the other week , along with 2 noob v10s ,the zzf I was going to keep for my self but the indentation in the centre is awfull , apart from that it's a great rep , but you can imagine my disappointment , there's is always something !
Looks like v1 zzf.
Is anyone elses V2 coming through like this. Saw a few people passing QC pics off earlier in this post as a camera lense reflection. Seems infact it is an indentation surrounds the hole for the hands.

Just received my 116610 LN ZZF V2 from Li.
First Impressions:
1) ARF vs. ZZF “debate”
Compared to the ARF V2 (which I also own) this feels 10x more gen-like. It’s just a more solid build! This is something that one could simply not pick up from the photos. The ARF (with the exception of the bracelet) almost feels like a toy compared to the ZZF.
2) Major tells vs. Gen
I must agree with the majority of what has been said above. The hands are in my mind the biggest weakness. They look flat and as a result look fatter than the gen hands. Furthermore, the xtal is OK but it certainly isn’t great. The cyclops is definitely a little cloudy when compared to that beautiful and bright gen xtal. One more thing is the misaligned rehaut- although this doesn’t bother me too much it is ever so slightly misaligned. However, my dads gen 116610 LV is also ever so slightly misaligned, so there you go!
3) QC issues
Upon unboxing this watch, the clasp immediately felt hard to open and in fact after a few times it completely jammed. There is in my opinion no excuse for this and it should have been picked up during QC by both the factory and then Li. Luckily it was always my intention on using the ARF bracelet but this would be a really frustrating outcome otherwise. if ZZF wants to become the king of the subs they simply need to get better at this. Pfft
4) Franken base.
Although I have only had limited exposure to the N00b, I simply cannot see how it would be much better than this as a base. For me, I am on the lookout for gen xtal and hands and with that more solid feeling ARF bracelet quite frankly that will be the ideal balance between cost and gen feel!

Couldn’t see any significant sign of the central dimple in my QC today. Had to decline the previous one due to SEL fit but very happy to accept this one. This and a PAM683 should be with me in a few days!

Here are some comparison shots between the new ZZF V2 and Noob V10 116610LN. Both have the VR3135 movement (opened and confirmed).
A few initial observations:
-Noob’s crystal has a blue hue
-Noobs dial markers and hands have a more creamy color
-Noob’s cyclops has more blue in the AR
-ZZF’s pearl has a light beige tone compared to Noob’s white
-ZZF’s dial has an indentation around the hand stack
-Noob’s date wheel font is thicker despite being the same movement
-Both bezel inserts are excellent and of similar quality, ZZF may have a slight bit more silver to it
-Noob is quite a bit thicker at 13.07 mm compared to ZZF at 12.68 mm. It appears this is coming from Noob’s thicker caseback

I don’t think the hands are flat, flatter than Gen yes but look at how they catch the light in the pics above (noob LN vs ZZF ) they are slightly curved, it’s the steel lume surrounds that are too thick on the hour hand.

Let me ask... I’m on pge 72 and with my luck the answer is on page 73.
For those who swapped the crystal, does the gen crystal gasket fit this case? Because like in the case of thhe ARF, the Rolex gasket didn’t fit and I had to use a different one. Thanks.

I tried again. Zzf doesn't take in arf bezel. The bezel can take in the insert yes but thr zzf case cannot take the arf bezel.
Or there might be something I'm doing wrong here as both bezel are of thr same dimension and size
