I have an arf v3. I was wondering if I switch my insert to zzf v2 or even gen, will it make lume missmatch? Also, anyone knows some good website to buy new gen parts from?

No they dont. I have a gen 116610LN from January 2020, and it does not have even the slightest indentation

And even if the gen does have it, it's certainly not a feature just the dial get dented when they punch the centre hole, it's a manufacturing defect at best.

Thanks for pointing that out. I got the shot from this video, it’s pretty interesting. Fast forward to around min 5:20 and on. You will see many instances where the light reflects and the indentation is noticeable on the alleged 2020 sub.

I see it. Mine does not have anything close to that. Mt gen 126710 does however have a small indentation

People have an idea that a gen Rolex is always perfect. They are far from it, ive seen alot of examples on small mistakes, productions differences in the same year model and so on.

Ok so I had my ZZF 114060 fitted with a prof 2xar and now this indentation around the centre pin is driving nuts. I just can’t unsee it! Li says they are all like this to some extent and from research that seems to be the case. Question is where can I get a replacement dial thats as close to gen as poss without needing a donor watch that fits this A3130 movement. Thanks

Mu friend's Gen 16610 also have this indentation, we went to an rolex service center and they said all submariner watches have this isdentation, it is not a flaw.

Zzf has:
better insert (but the color is still dull in low light)
better dial tringle marker
better crystal height
better lume color

Arf has
better hands
better bezel teeth
better Lupe, with black hole 90% like gen
better braclet/clasp
better in brush and finish

bezel Action and sells can Variante in batches on both Arf and Zzf.

I would still prefer a arf 2824 as out of box.

Zzf with vr 3135 and gen xtal and arf bracelet would be a good modding Option, since the zz v3 no date has clean the ROLEXX rehaute Problem. So i Think soon will come the date Version with correct rehaute too.

on the second pic, the Sun shines more. So its a diffrent lighting. Even a new one in low light it looks dull.

It’s true. The zzf insert is very very dull. Some are better than others but it’s still far from the brightness of a gen. I think a gen insert is always a good investment that can change a lot the look of the watch.
