ZF RM55, new super clone movement

I think it's ok to have some indication of QC time in this thread. No harm no foul and those who are reading know what to expect.

Seems the hype died for the Ti Rm055 since I dont see mamy people talking or QC.

I'm curious if the case is really substantially different - if so its a step back from white ceramic.

Haven’t lost interest in the grey Ti at all. Just patiently waiting for some updates to it then plan to pounce. I imagine most have similar feelings.

Nope you are right bro. Im waiting for like 4-5 weeks now. and im losing interest. actually thinking of cancelling. Also no brushed update to the ribs like previous ceramic models. So im holding off i think.

I switched model to an APSF. Hopefully that will be faster.

Any tips on how to remove scuffs from the white ceramic? Haven’t actually hit the watch on anything, but it seems I somewhat regularly manage to brush it against something. I’ve picked up like 4 scuffs over the course of two weeks or so. Tried erasers, makes it better but they’re still visible. Can’t get enough of this watch but the scuffs are really starting to annoy me.

My QC from JTime was relatively quick, within a week or so.. that said shipping to EU took almost exactly a month.

Does the super clone RMUL2 movement in the RM055 APSF accurately replicate the free-sprung balance found in the genuine RM055? Are there specific flaws (e.g., incorrect shock jewels or balance wheel design) that give away the replica?

No, none of the reps under ~$2k are free sprung and you can easily see this in any photos of the watches (from the backside). If you can't tell, maybe it doesn't really matter?

I have an RM strap screw driver (HT-MK9) on order from Stuvetjee.. but who else has successfully changed the straps on the rep RM-055 and what tool did you use?
