exceptional thickness a deal breaker for me
Same. This and the crappy rib finishing. I appreciate the well done details on the gray variant, but it's annoying me to no end that they're treating this color variant like a separate model. I could atleast rationalize the fatter case (perhaps a different manufacturer with it being made of a different material). But the fact that they already have the same model available in other color variants with the updated movement but are still pushing this with the old one is just...

You can't easily see that from the dial side - but you can immediately spot the missing "threaded inserts" or "nuts" or whatever the silver-toned metal discs are. There are a few missing still, near the balance jewel and other places. Very easy to spot side by side from the dial side.
Thank you for the reply.

Can you or anyone mark up or show on any of these pix what the “threaded inserts” are or what the issues may be that would be an immediate ridge away? I think it would help a lot of members. Thanks.

Here’s a comparison I made up when the ZF version first came out. I’m by no means an expert so please do your due diligence as well on this and if anyone spot anything to call out please feel free to comment on it as well.

I agree with this but I'd swap significant and minor. The screws on the keyless works feature, in red, exist in both but are slightly different sizes. The nuts, in blue, are just completely missing. It's way easier to spot missing details vs incorrectly sized details, imo.

Can you circle what you are talking about?

The large screws at 1-2 o'clock are the most significant flaw to me, the way they catch the light in most environments is distracting, even more so than the ZF V1 frosted ribs in my opinion. It is what my eyes are drawn to first every time I look at mine lol

There are still plenty of improvements that can be made to the dimensions of ribs on the DD based movements, APSF seems to be the only one that has tried to improve this aspect

Gen vs. ZF V3

Ordered a week ago, still waiting for QC.

Seems to be very popular, still waiting for QC.

Seems there is a big delay, maybe due to popularity or something else.

Anyone else waiting for QC? Keep me company please.

All quiet on the QC front.

The wait for QC continues.

Ok, we get it... you're waiting for your QC pics. Been there, done that. Here's an idea: bug your dealer who can actually do something about your order rather than bugging the rest of the world on a daily basis?

I like the social aspect, maybe there are more people waiting too and it can be a fun little waiting room. I’ll go back to the quiet lurking, hope I get to see more white ceramic 055 wrist shots.

I think it's ok to have some indication of QC time in this thread. No harm no foul and those who are reading know what to expect.

Seems the hype died for the Ti Rm055 since I dont see mamy people talking or QC.

I'm curious if the case is really substantially different - if so its a step back from white ceramic.

Nope you are right bro. Im waiting for like 4-5 weeks now. and im losing interest. actually thinking of cancelling. Also no brushed update to the ribs like previous ceramic models. So im holding off i think.

i bought all ZF v3 in all colors few weeks ago. If anyone want could post them when i get back home.

My 2cents:
-They are great.
-As usual, ceramic still their best work, ntpt ones not as good as v1 apsf, but stil a bit improvement from zf v1
-Ntpt strap space has slight different between ceramic and ntpt, default sharkfin from zf fits perfectly into the case, bit a bit off with ntpt.
