Nice pickup! Although my rep strap is nice enough that I havent felt the need to replace it...unless i could find a deal like that! The only other rep strap as good is my Reverso "croc" (not sure if it is a real croc as advertised, but it is excellent)

I asked my TD about the strap for this rep, it is not real alligator. Was hoping to get it on a SS bracelet, and asked around, I guess the factory hasn't made it yet. Getting it on a real alligator strap is the least I can do :).

Just received picture of my completed custom made alligator watch strap from my watch strap maker on Etsy. This looks like really good quality, made to exact specifications, and the price was right :).

Really is a great rep! Mine on gen strap with my VC tourbs

Quite a bit of space between strap and bezel... so curved would suit :)

Received my custom made alligator strap for the JLC yesterday. It's a little thicker than I expected, but for the low price I paid, I am quite happy with it.

I used a little mink oil to make it conform a little better around the wrist and the curved spring bars. Hopefully in time it will have a more tender and relaxed look and feel.

What's the lug to lug with on this timepiece bud, just ordered mine with Chazingtime and getting ready to get a different strap. Thanks!

The strap lugs are 21mm. I measured the strap length to be 115/75mm & 18mm buckle.

What kind of strap did you get? I hear it's not real alligator the one that the rep comes with.

Holly cow those pics are awesome. Can't wait to receive my timepiece in a couple weeks. I'm assuming that's the strap you got thru Etsy. I'll be PM'n you to ask about specs to get the same strap if you don't mind

The specs are: 115/75mm in length, 21mm lugs & 18mm buckle.

I would recommend you tell him to use thinner alligator and/or no padding, unless you like it to be thicker, whichever your preference. And also ask him to include a notch for a tang buckle, I had to manually make one using my dermal tool. It was completely my mistake though, I told him I would be using a deployment clasp on the strap, and the example he gave me was for a generic deployment and I told him it would be fine. The JLC deployment clasp needs the notch space, which I am sure he will be able to do by default if he knows you'll be using a standard tang and buckle on the strap.
