Where I need to be.
Since you have done this before, usually, Does one need new parts to fix this issue or just needs service of the watch ?
Thanks!
Sometimes the existing parts can be salvaged and realigned to work with one another. Other times the parts come broken and have to be replaced.
Service of the movement has nothing to do with the dive bezel. Often members treat movement service as a panacea for all issues and symptoms but this isn’t the case. A movement service takes care of cleaning, oiling, alignment and regulation of the movement. If there are specific symptoms like movement stoppage or it running fast or slow, it should be highlighted to the watchsmith ahead so that the issues can be addressed specifically.

To answer your question more meaningfully

1. There are 2 font types for the 15703 depending on the series. The older series came with a serifed font and the new one, a modern font which is without serif.

2. In the picture you provided, you are comparing the serif font vs a non serif font. It is like comparing apples to oranges, of course they are different.

3. If you are to compare the serif font of the gen vs the serif font of the rep, the difference is obvious. The modern font on the rep looks a lot more accurate vs the modern font on the gen IMHO.

So you first need to understand what you are asking and comparing before understanding my reply.

Just an FYI for the ZF diver fans, looks like there’s been an update to the dial. I’ve noticed over the past few weeks a few QC’s coming out that have more texture on the tops of the tapisserie squares. Looks like a nice update to me.
(Pics below are both ZF 15703, old on top, new on bottom)

remind me again: how slow is the 3120 clone slow date change ?
because for me the lowbeat is of essence and I wouldnt mind a buy and wear watch after so many modded ones all these years
