I have both. I love 15202, it is much more comfortable to wear on the wrist. But 15500 is a great rep!

If you were to choose one or the other which would it be? Any idea?
Right now, I'm having a really hard time deciding which one to go for as they both look great and I'm looking to choose one over the other. It'll definitely be a ZF batch but they're both beautiful watches.
The grey dial is calling my name more than any other colour at the minute. It just looks so damn sexy next to its stainless steel casing!

In reality there was no upgrade, but a marketing hype. The ZF15500 is largely the same as before.
Pretty sure it wasn't only marketing (ZF isn't know to do such things unlike Noob, ARF/JF)
But indeed, it's the same as before.
Updated Decoration. Base Movement: Japanese MIYOTA 9015 24J automatic movement at 28800vph (Same stability as Swiss ETA movements) the best looking AP Calibre 4302 Movement
As per TD description, no time to check both decoration but i'm confident with ZF upgrade being not marketing purposes.
if you have no time to do a comparison where does the confidence come from? I have checked the old movement, and the new one, and they looked identical, or has no meaningful difference. The watches came in from members who sent them in for modding.
So I will ask you to stop insisting on this without proof. Got it?
The 15202 is perfect on the wrist with its 39mm but I really can't appreciate the rattle xf bracelet (and the flexible endlinks). So I chose the 15500, even if it's big for my 18cm wrist

Interesting. For someone like myself with a bigger wrist (20.5cm) would the 15500 be the better of the two choices? Or is it completely down to personal preference at this point?
Like yourself, I'm leaning more towards the 15202 when I see them side-by-side. Honestly.. I don't think you could go wrong with either choice at this point!

Objectively speaking, the 15500 is the better rep in terms of visual accuracy (and also movement for me). The 15202 is a classic. The good news is that there are enough differences between the two to justify owning them both.
I never owned the 15202 gen or rep and I still own 2x gen 15500. I put the 15500 a couple of times for photo taking but mostly I don’t wear them either. I hardly wear watches these days in fact lol.
But if I do need to choose I’ll take the 15500 in a heartbeat over the 15202.

I’m thinking going rose gold 15500 on strap. Yes there will be a weight difference compared to the gen but slightly so as I’m not going with the rose gold bracelet. I haven’t gone with a rose gold rep before, but does the rose gold colour change or fade over time? Anyone who has experience with a rose gold rep , would be great to hear some feedback.
p.s I’m not going full gold with bracelet because the weight is a big giveaway, but I’m assuming that won’t be much of a problem with the strap rose gold model. Also bracelets are easily scratched and scratching a rose gold rep can be a disaster.
