The ZF 15500s are very good ootb. You are trying to judge a bit too much from TD QC macro pics. Yes, there are some manufacturing/assembly flaws in some samples but yours was a good sample (at least that's what my eyes think)
In my instance, the 12:00 arrows are not evenly aligned. It immediately strikes me. It will piss off in use.
In fairness the TDs are making big money. They're not making $10-20 a sale... it's big money. Profit margins are higher than you think...
But I agree some users are too picky and expecting too much out of a $500 rep, whilst they compare it with 20k gens.
I am not comparing this watch to a $ 20,000 watch. I understand that there will be a cheap mechanism, but the dial is what I will constantly look at. Even a $ 50 Casio or Swatch watch has a smooth dial.
I just want a visually even clock, that's all.
Yes lol. The only thing lacking in the process are a laser grid alignment system for ensuring that everything is aligned to 0.0001mm and some amnesia pills to ensure that the watch is never going to be a gen. Total contentment thereafter.

When you pick on QC pics this way it makes the job a lot harder for dealers. If you’re going to wear a $500 watch, you should have more than a $500 expectation and this watch is visually worth a lot more than $500 IMHO.
Anyway hope that your next piece can be better for you.

If you are unhappy with the QC, reject it. Don’t let anyone on here fool you- it’s your money and you are the one who gets to decide if you’re gonna be happy with. Whether it’s a gen or a rep you’re entitled to the expectations that the dealer and factories implement...

Then you will be pissed off with every rep you buy as they will all have tiny issues. This watch was as good as they get and the likelihood that the next one you get has bigger issues is high. Don't come complain if that happens

Great mindset. Yes people can so whatever the hell they want, not listen to anyone and have no consideration for TDs. That doesn't make it a respectable way of living and interacting with other human beings.
Now to close on the topic, if you don't want to listen to people's advice and you believe that they are here to "fool you" (why the heck would anyone even do that is beyond my understanding but back to topic) then just don't come here posting QC pics zoomed 20x with arrows and questions/comments that don't make sense, such as "the screw is not screwed in" (my god...)
Keep the QC pics to yourself and the whole community will be better

Exactly. And if you don't see any issues on your own look or can't judge them yourself, don't even bother asking others. Once you're asking others, you're bound to get several different opinions. Attitude like yours is the reason why many seasoned members and experts don't reply to QC questions anymore and I urge everyone to do so as well. You want your QC done from 'real' experts? Go back to reddit :lol:

you came on encouraging someone with no idea, to post QC pics and be picky about nitty gritty flaws. Then you tell them it’s their money and their decision. You’re not wrong actually.
If this is the case then why bother asking others for their opinions since it’s one person’s money and decision to take?
We don’t want to encourage guys to spam their QC pics for cheap novelty watches here, drawing arrows and circles and grid lines and expecting the entire community to do the QC work for them and rejecting them based on imaginary flaws.
If you think it’s their money and opinion, then go a bit further and tell them to keep it off the forum since it’s nobody else’s money and decision to take. Quetip was right, an attitude like yours don’t belong here.
