The options have been listed and you can decide what works best for you sir. All the best!Thank you Legend!
From my view, the best way forward seems to get watch smith that coud trim down the hour hand a bit. To have it modded
It could fit if the holes of the quartz hands are smaller than the Miyota axis. If it's really the case, you could mod them to it the Miyota. It's better than cutting around the stack...A bit out of topic but somewhat related, will the hands from a quartz 15202 fit on the Miyota 9015?
Has BP a thinner handbase ? The problem is due to the Miyota axis (very big for the hour hand).BP makes hands that look closer to gen. Are they better? No clue. Also I haven’t found anyone selling them separatel…..
YesDP are apparently stopping production of their custom dials, are they stopping production of their hands too?
If they use the Miyota, it's difficult (1.52 mm hole for the hour hand). The ZF 15202 has been in production for some time now and they still haven't corrected the oversized hand base. I hope APSF produces a 15202/16202 soon.
There's a such thing as DP 15202 hands? I'm only aware of DP hands for the 15500. Don't think I've seen anything for the 15202 here or on reddit or on Hillbilly's feed.DP are apparently stopping production of their custom dials, are they stopping production of their hands too?
Yes it can be modded to fit the ZF case. The gen hands will fit the pinion, and the custom hands will often need to be refined slightly to fit perfectly given the machining tolerance.
What is a CNC 15202 case? Is this an aftermarket product, post us a link for more information. Thanks. How much difference is there between the ZF 15202 case and a CNC 15202 case?
